I think Izzie deserves some happiness after losing Denny and I'm really committed to this storyline. I really believe in her and George. There are moments where you see them together and I'm like, 'See that's why' - because there is such pure joy for her to be around him.

Reasons why we love them

Because they dominate elevator scenes
Because they loved each other before they fell in love.
Because they're each others person.
Because there love is friendship set on fire.
Because she doesnt want him to leave.
Because we loved every minute of them being drunk.
Because we all know she lied when Izzie said she had no feelings for him.
Because George is afriad there will be more kisses in the elevator.
Because she cried after she told him it didnt mean anything.
Because George looked hurt when she said them sleeping didnt mean anything.
Because our ship's 14 best seconds happened in a elevator.
Because she is in love with him.
Because we all know that his loves her too.
Because he is her penis fish.
Because they are a 'dream team'.
Because she will wait for him
Because he gets her and she gets him
Because he left callies to go to her
Because he hugged her and didnt let go
Because they make the best lovers and the best of friends

Yes even if Izzie dies 60 years from now, I can see her being reunited with her George in heaven.

OK, this makes me mad. Izzie's bio and under notable relationships, they mention Alex and denny but not George at all. GRRR.

They say Izzie finally got over her love for Denny when she married Alex. Hullo? They are acting like she was carrying a torch for Denny while still with George and her feelings fro George were just rebound or something.

It makes me really mad. Shonda quite point-blankedly said Izzie was OVER Denny and her feelings for George had nothing to do with it. Now because they are scared of the haters, they are pretending she was clutching on to George to get over Denny and she and George never happened.

Even under Callie's bio, theys ay she and George divorced but they don't mention why

It really annoys me they are acting like Gizzie never happened. They did, they were real and their fans know this.

I'm sorry, end of rant. I just wanted to get this off my chest.

Izzie and George said they loved each other and had a relationship. They had sex!!!!!! Now it just didn't happen? Wait it's not that it didn't happen but apparently it's not notable

So they mention Callie calling Izzie a treachorous bitch but we never get to see the reason.

They removed George from the character list already?

This is quite disconcerting. And not all that surprising.

They were written as the real true thing. Their ILU's surpass any that have been said b/t Denny & Iz or Alex & Iz, the "notable relationships.

3.25 Didn't we almost have it all

And during the break-up scene George talked about marriage... marriage! When he thinks about Izzie he thinks about forever. And their timing just wasn't right for it... he wasn't ready after his divorce.

I think Shonda & Co. need to go back a rewatch S1,2,3&4... apparently they have amnesia or something.

Although it's not surprising to me, it makes me so

No matter how they want to erase him and Gizzie, I will not forget.

This does not bode well for how S6 is going to go... I was hoping for Izzie to really remember the elevator and George and really have some big emotions about what that means.

They also have the elevator quote between Izzie and George when she tells him it's unfair before they kiss but they don't mention they were involved at all. Heck, they don't even mention their friendships.

They sure were in a big hurry to erase George right out of their list of biographies, were they? Says a lot about how little George meant to them in the end.

Thanks for posting those quotes Cindy. No matter how hard they try to make me forget, I will never forget George or Gizzie and their TRUE wonderful love.
