Leighton's delivery in that scene was perfect

Such sarcasm and bitchiness coming through

But also with a hint of protectiveness

I just love how she kept dissing Bree. "Do you happen to know what the Swahili is for 'mind your own beeswax'? No reason of course" "Like slavery. What? I'm joking" "Traveling is so important. Bree have you ever thought about traveling? Somewhere very far away" "Trust me Nate, I know women. And none of us are that nice" And I still like the way she says "With ME"

That whole scene was made of Blair epic-ness

Three scenes.

I feel N was a walking plot device this episode. Still cheered on the sharing scenes. I liked how protective he was "At least Chuck did one thing right", the voice of the audience.

He congrats to her get-in Columbia was kinda cute.

Yeah I was so happy they had scenes

Nate is always there for her

And he knows her so well, he knew exactly what she was up to

And her asking to go to his lacrosse game and his being there for her and congratulating her were adorable

In 2.19 when B was falling spiral down.
In 3.18 when she experienced the most embarrassing moment.

When B reached the lowest point he was always there.

In 3.20 when she transferred successfully.

I only was a little disappointed that she couldn't apply for herself.

But I like the idea of Columbia and of NB's connections.

Exactly! Whenever Blair has needed someone the most, Nate has always been there

I was a disappointed that Blair didn't apply herself too because I wanted Blair to be able to do it on her own, but I love that Nate was there when it happened and the way he congratulated her

and now they'll be going to the same school right?

I don't like it because I view it as an image of dependence. Seems as this season progresses she is becoming more dependent and less independent. Ugh.

I always picture them hanging out together around the campus.

The sad thing is we never saw N went to school in S3 literally. He chatted with Dan and had coffees in NYU.

I completely agree, I think this season we have seen B become way too dependent and that's not who she is

she is fierce and independent. Which is why it disappointed me that she didn't apply to Columbia but ah well what can you do, its obviously a plot device for CB fans so whatever. I'll let it go.

This show wrote for plots and WTFs not for characters. I would have given anything to see scenes of B being explored as a full character and sad maybe we won't ever get them.
