Just rewatched GG after so long, the way derena hit was really huge. I don't remember being this enamoured with them before.

I've been scourging the internet for stuff on them, so I found this thread which seems to be reasonably active for a 2020 thread. I'll be backreading all these threads!

I wouldn’t even bother with Reddit it’s full of delusional dair fans. DS has been getting hate since day one. Pure jealousy imo.

I've never been on the Gossip Girl subreddit. I don't really go on many tv show subs since they're all so hateful.

I never liked reddit much in the first place. The only good thing about it its that it's usually frequented often.

Usually, a fiction subreddit has a character and / or pairing that is much more popular than the rest, so either you praise them or if you trash them you get downvoting. What that means is that your username becomes useless, because you have to wait an hour to post again.

GG subreddit is a Blair / Chair circlejerk and a Serena / Dan hate centre, but there's some secret wars going there. I'm vocal on my hate for the former and my love for the latter, so I expected to be silenced already. I've been on subforums before where I didn't even last an hour.

Yet I've been upvoted immensely, I'm reaching like +1000 and I've only been there a pair of weeks. I "blame" the shipping wars. Serenate stans must upvote me for defending Serena and Nate (I like them, but separate) and Dair stans must upvote me for defending Dan and trashing Chair. Well, enemy of my enemy...
