Thanks for explaining the “trifecta”.

Did y’all think Dan being Gossip Girl was a red herring, something the writers planned from the beginning, or something they made up at the very end because they couldn’t think of another/better person for it to be?

I think that they prob planned it from the beginning but never wanted to reveal it. They forgot about imo.

If that’s the case, I think they could have written some of the storylines a little better.

Same. I am working on a strange crossover between gossip girl and Gilmore girls and I gave myself the ds feels again.it is sad at how unpopular they are now

season 1. I love both characters Dan will go anywhere with Serena and some places he was reluctant but he did it because of Serena. I love when he first ran into her.

Season 1 was the best for both of them. I love both of their characters. Dan was so sweet back then. I like you only you.

and remember when she thought dan got the vespa? the christmas gift to him that Vanessa helped her with. I also love how Serena was a girl who made mistakes, but was willing to fix them. and Dan got her to stop drinking and she didn't stay out late and got good grades, all due to Dan. He would raise mountains for her. He did a lot for her. Serena is a better person with him. She is also gorgeous and amazing. Dan was so kind and protective . I loved that about him.
