"In season 2 they couldn't be together because they were scared of messing things up. They didn't want to do thing that bored them and then become boring in turn. Well they definitely weren't in the end.

They grew up so much throughout the show. They learnt to open their heart to one another, that games would only work if they were a team and not playing against each other. They learnt that although their love would never go away they couldn't take it for granted.

I know a lot of people don't understand why it took so long for them to end up together, but if they had figures things out in season 4 they pull have crashed bs burned all over again, Chuck still needed to grow into the man Blair always knew he could be. I do agree that they could easily have done without season 5 (especially second part), Ban was such a #dairsaster but hey they got married and had a child (Henry is definitely one of many!!)

I love those two edits and the little essays especially the first one, every word is so perfect and accurate

Chuck always believed in Blair and wanted her to be powerful but of course he would want to look after her when she was down but he would always want to build her back up because he knows she is her true self when she is powerful.

But here is one the many reasons why I love Chuck and Blair this much. Beauty and The Beast is my favorite fairytale ever, I've always found it very realistic too and the pararlels betwen CB make me love them even more (if that much love is possible lol)

(And this is just one of the parallels.)

I love how Chuck has his arm around Blair and pulls her into him and of course Blair's smile lights up the room. I like that these gifs are in black and white also because they look so timeless when gifed like that.

I know over the years we missed out on scenes we would have liked to see or had them cut short or fade to black but we got so much in the finale. We saw their proposal, announcing their engagement to their friends and family, their wedding and that's all before the flash forward and HENRY
