The dialogue can be a little cheesy, but it really is a great show, especially if you are into those kinds of shows

I'm not 100% happy with the apology!

I know that a lot was going on when it happened, but they really need to sit down to talk about the mortal/immortal issues, no matter how hard and painful it will be. Otherwise it will just be in the backgroud the whole time, which won't be good for their relationship in the long run.

I don't think you were supposed to be 100% happy. This issue is not over for them. The only frustrating thing about this issue is the Magnus blaming that I constantly see. I am so over it. Both men acted like dicks, and neither one has appropriately dealt with their last argument. I am hoping that Malec get to have a proper conversation about it before this half of the season is over. If they send Magnus off to Edom before their issues are resolved I will be pretty upset... well as resolved as they can get for one of them being immortal and the other being mortal

Why was Alec asking about that promotion? Isn't that the one he turned down because he'd be too far away?

He asked about the promotion as a way to provide a distraction for the others to get the weapon they needed.
