I know, the only way I can explain it is that there was actually another explanation coming, that the kids were just being stupid & showing how clueless they are by coming up with that conclusion

I somehow get the feeling that they were going to show that the kids were making mistakes...somewhere dow the line. It could have been a real good lesson.

However that whole Maya turning into Riley thing. Ughh. I like Riley, but I was very mad at her during that storyline.

It is literally the only explanation I can take. There's no way that a group of adult writers could come up with that storyline & think that it makes sense

I feel so stupid just typing this storyline out, but....they had this whole Riley/Maya/Lucas triangle & they didn't know how to move forward & Lucas was too stuck on not wanting to hurt anyone to actually choose. Then they did a storyline about how Maya was becoming too much like Riley, which somehow led the kids to believe that Maya had 'turned into' Riley & that the feelings she had for Lucas, were just a part of that...God, it makes me angry just typing this. Then they tried to add on that Maya also just got close to Lucas to test if he was good enough for Riley because Maya loves her so much.....

Seriously, it's the stupidest end to a triangle ever, & I think it's going to go down as a joke for a long time.

It actually gives me a headache trying to comprehend it

& it bugs me that this is aimed at kids, because that's just not how feelings work. In my life, I have never been through something like that & neither has anyone I know, because it's just not what happens! I don't think there's anyone on this planet who can relate to that.

I just hope there's not some 13 year old girl out there telling a friend that her feelings aren't real, she just turned into her best friend & absorbed them
