Oh and from the last thread, Karen, I know I noticed few weeks ago that it's been a while since I didn't stop by at the DJo thread (or even at the DC board) :headslap: I don't even know why, I guess I just get carried away with some other board and stop posting at other threads I used to :blush: but like I was saying to Nic not so long ago I want to go back posting on that thread because I still love my DJo very much and I liked talking with everyone over there :nod: but right now I'm in vacation, so I don't have access to my computer and I can't come on internet whenever I want but when I'll be back at home I plan to come back there ;)

Just wanted to say a random thought that I had since those last days since I've been watching my LC Dvds again, did you guys noticed that when LC kiss they often make a lot of sounds you know those "hmm" thing lol I think that's the only couple I know that made this that often when they kiss, must be a Teri/Dean thing lol

I've been watching season 4 lately and I gotta say, even though there's loads of L&C lovin', I just don't like these eps. I loathe the fact that L&C's wedding was so 'out there'. I mean, married by an angel? Good god. I sooooo wanted them to have an amazing wedding in church. I don't expect much realism in a show about a flying superhero, but the writing really bordered on ridiculous in season 4. The whole "Soul Mates" episode totally stinks. I think L&C are the only TV couple in the world who have to lift a curse before they can finally sleep together. :rolleyes:

What I also never understood is: In the series finale, L&C find out that they can't have children and H.G. Wells said in season 2 that Superman WILL have kids. So yup, still confused there.

Anyway, season 1 and 2 will always remain my favorite seasons. Much greater storylines there. Plus, I absolutely dig L&C's kick ass banter.

I'm with you nora, I didn't feel the same about LC towards the end. But they still have some great moments.

Seriously, LnC were part of my childhood. I started watching cos I loved the whole Superman thing but I became so addicted to the LnC banter. I was too young to grasp what chemistry meant at the time and I could never put a finger on what was so appealing about these two working together - but seriously DC and TH - just sold every scene they were in. They had just as much chemistry as warring, affable partners as they had as smoochy lovey-dovers!"

I agree Miela. I have yet to see another TV couple with better chemistry than Dean and Teri. I mean, their kick ass chemistry is basically the first thing anyone mentions when talking about this show. Back in the days when the show was still on, it was constantly mentioned in reports or interviews.

Although it has to be said that the great writing of these characters, especially in season 1 and 2, added to the chemistry, too. I also think it's because of how well D/T played their characters. They were just made for them. I mean, Lois Lane will always be Teri's best role, IMO, because that character just has a lot of layers: funny, sarcastic, cynical, strong, intelligent, independent, emotional.... and Teri just nailed all that. Lois is the kind of character who just won't take crap from anyone and I can't think of any girl who didn't want to be like Lois back then, including myself. Compare that to her role on "Desperate Housewives". Susan's been the same from episode 1: clumsy. Sometimes I think that's all there is to her character. And while that was funny for a few eps, now it's just downright annoying. But I digress.

Dean will always be the best Clark Kent to me. Not the best Superman (although I blame that on the writing - then again the show was never about Superman), but definitely the best Clark. He completely sold the intelligent, kind and sharp Smallville guy who wants to lead a normal life in the big city. And call me crazy, but I always thought that he looked way sexier WITH the glasses. Seriously - hot! Sorry, that was my shallow self speaking. :D

Oh, i totally wanted to be Lois Lane b/c of TH. She to me is *iconic* Lois Lane - she brought so much to the role and the way she played off against DC's Clark Kent was just beautiful! I do sort of hope DC does a stint on Desperate Housewives cos I think they would just slip back into that old groove - you can't fake chemistry like that!

I'm with you Nora, I think he looks better in the glasses. I never really liked how they slicked his hair back as Superman. I know it's part of the disguise but still.
