I know. I mean come on. Fake baby. Really?
 And on top of that Lana made her feelings extremely clear about Lex in Static and it really makes me mad that they would have her confess her feelings to him in such a way only for them to do a complete turn around with them. But again if they were going to eventually break them up anyway they could have done it more realistically. |

Perfectly said. They totally did a 180 a little after static. Here you have her confessing her love and then they make it seem like that never happened. Like a "OPPS, we messed up, was just a slip". They should of had them happy, get married, baby dies and they fall apart. That would of been more realistic. Maybe with the thought of Kristen and Michael wanting to leave the writers thought they needed to super up Lex's Evilness. After all the story they went through to show Lex loves lana and wanted the LEXMAS future, they do the 'fake baby' storyline.

I think that right there just makes it seem so obvious things got changed last minute. Lex could have continued being evil and stayed with Lana (and we all know Lana has some evil in her). Especially with both of them wanting to leave. Which brings me to a point I have made before on the LL thread at the Smallville board (so I apologize for anyone who has heard me say this many times before
 ) but it also makes me mad the storyline they went with was all for her to go with Clark who she doesn't even stay with because she was (eventually) leaving. And even if Kristin wouldn't have left I don't believe Clana would have stayed together anyway since it seems pretty obvious (to me) that they have been trying to head in a Clark/Lois way (eventually). So they completely screwed over the Lexana storyline and their fans with such a slap in the face. And speaking of Lexmas it is awesome! |

Lexmas is so awesome. I mean I wasn't asking for that, cause this is lex and lana and in now way could if of went down like that, but they didn't need to go the way they did. With Lana all for Clark though just episodes before she was confessing her love for Lex. Worried that he might be dead. WOuld of made more sense for her to lose the baby and then fall away from Lex. Not for there to be a fake baby.

Talking about LL got me in a icon mood for them.
the fake baby thing was ridiculous. Seriously that is what they come up with. I would of much raither they lost the baby then there never been one in the first place. __________________
