Me too! He loves Kara as a daughter himself, maybe he thought Lee loved Kara as a sister lol ? I don't know, but it was really weird.

I got rather mad at the non-challant look on his face. "Oh, yeah, so Kara got married.' It should have been ' Ok, son, this is going to hurt but...[insert insanley long pause] ...Kara got married.' [As he places a comfoting hand on Lee's shoulder]

It should've been like that... but I don't know, maybe they didn't want Lee to expect something like that until the very last second. I think the way it happened, it was a lot more painful to Lee, mostly because he couldn't obviously count on his father's support and because of the surprise. With Papa!Adama talking about Kara's marriage like any other event, it destroyed everything. I'm doing a lousy job explaining myself but I don't think it would have had the same effect in the scene. I mean, I was spoiled but for those who weren't, it pretty much had the same effect on them than on Lee (talking about the shippers, mostly
). It was like getting stabbed in the gut by someone (and when) you least expected.__________________
