TFTNT. I'm so glad that I'm turning in the first chapter of my MA thesis tomorrow and we'll be more free to delve into headcanons and writing fics. I don't feel like discussing "new Downton" episodes. I will wait for some CS reports, because I got curious, but then I 'm done.
If anything happens, that Tom is definitely not my Tom anymore, so there's really no need to be bothered with him even a little. Though I can bet that this is just another cruel tease. If Tom ever achieves something, I want to see only Sybbie by his side and Sybil in his heart and mind. But he won't. IN JF's view, becoming DA manager through marriage is the highest achievement. BTW - are the recent thread titles ironic, Scarlet? Tom at DA does not work, Fellowes, and will never work. It does not do his character justice. He should be written off somewhere - so why wasn’t he written off with very much alive Sybil? __________________

Exactly because it's only speculating about what stupid thing JF may do next - I'm giving up on speculation and discussing spoilers. I don't want to have Tom dragged into the mud (by Fellowes that is). I wouldn't put any idea past Fellowes ATM. Tom doesn't deserve it. My Tom is free from Fellowes now and is with Sybil in London. Because that's what he deserves and the only direction that does his character justice.

If you want to visit a funny forum where people snark on the show, try ONTD. They hate Robert with a passion, love Thomas and Tom. They mostly loved S/T too, although they are not as against the idea of him having a new love interest as we are.
Mostly it's just fun for the snark and intense Robert hate. |

Can you kill ME? Fellowes could do only one thing to make us feel even worse at Chistmas... and he did it. Does he try to punish JBF and erase Sybil as soon as possible

Further and apparently more concrete evidence Dan is leaving. On Ausiello, with multiple sources. He may be in a few episodes, or only one (4.01 if the earlier rumor was correct), but not the whole thing. Recasting is almost certainly off the table. Tumblr freakout. Glorious to see. Everyone claiming it would destroy the entire arc of the show.
