Rufus/Lily (Gossip Girl) #2
 I thought I'd start a thread for them here. Anyone else a fan? Personally I prefer them way more than any of the younger couples on the show. They have such an intense chemistry and complicated dynamic, along with a history, which I think makes them fascinating to watch. So, post here if you like them. I'll start a fan list for now and perhaps other stuff can be added as we go along. Can you add me please? They are one of my favorite couples, if not the one I like the best. It's a shame that they didn't end up together. I can't explain myself why the writers thought that Lily ending up with William is a good idea.
If they really wanted Serena/Dan to be endgame, they could have Lily end up with Bart. It was really sad to see how they ruined his character just to have a completely heartless villain.  Lily really made him smile during the first seasons. But that's a story for another time. |

I find this scene to be sadder than it was intended, because of the regret I see in her eyes at 0:53 and the fact that Dan/Serena represent the potential Rufus/Lily had in their youth, the alternative with a happy end. If CeCe didn't messed the things up, Scott could have been raised by one or both his biological parents __________________
