While not much is truly known about Patrick, much is said about him - and that's fine by him. He's a dark, brooding figure on the fringe of Padua High School. Patrick has a genuine mysteriousness that's at once intriguing yet unsettling.


A Feminist with a razor-sharp tongue, Kat possesses a strong sense of self and a keen scorn for the trappings of high school. She does have a softer side under that tough exterior, a fact she keeps closely guarded.

ETHAN & LINDSAY

Ethan Peck is the son of artist Francine Matarazzo and Stephen Peck, Community Development Director for U.S.VETS. His sister, Marisa Matarazzo, is a writer. He is also the grandson of late legendary actor Gregory Peck. In high school he played varsity lacrosse and football, and was on the varsity track team. He studied classical cello for six years. He has had earlier roles in Passport to Paris and a younger Kelso in two episodes of That 70's Show.

Lindsay Shaw was born in Lincoln, Nebraska and developed a love of the theater at a young age. Before relocating to Los Angeles to pursue her acting career full time, Lindsey and her mother traveled from Lincoln to Kansas City twice a month to do print ads and commercials. She is best know for her roles Jennifer 'Moze' Mosely in Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide, and Claire Tolchuck in Aliens in America.

(After he almost hits her car with his bike, he gives her a look)
Kat: Hey your the one speeding in a school zone. (his bike is blocking her from closing the car door) Do you mind?

Principal: Mr. Verona what a surprise come in, without the sharp object.
(he's blocks her exit) Personal space ever hear of it? (when he still doesn't move, she shoves past him)

(Kat sees Patrick looking at her)
Kat: Mandella who is Captain Intensity over there?
Mandella: Patrick Verona, people say he knows the taste of human flesh.
Kat: Please he's trying to act mysterious, so he can get laid. Watch. (walks over and starts to stare Patrick down)
Mandella: Maybe we should stand somewhere else, somewhere out of state. (Kat and Patrick stare at each other till he finally gets up and leaves)

(Kat sees Patrick show up at the party)
Kat: Alright Hannibal Lecter, lets cut to the chase. You want some of this (puts up her fist) no? Then how about some of this (holds up her tazer) what do you want?
Patrick: What do you mean?
Kat: I mean do you want to deal me drugs, or steal my car, or harvest my organs? Why are people scared of you?
Patrick: Why are people scared of you?
Kat: (scoffs) People aren't scared of me.
Patrick: Sure they are that's why I find you interesting.

Mandella: That was awesome, it's like your mouth knows kung fu.
Kat: High school is like Vietnam, and these stupid flowers are like agent orange.
Mandella: So your not hoping to get one, even a teeny tiny bit?
Kat: From who? Every guy here has the depth of an inflatable kitty pool.
Mandella: What about Patrick Verona?
Kat: I would rather lick that toilet seat, why would you even ask me that?
Mandella: I just saw him in line buying a flower that's all.
Kat: (flustered) That's impossible he would never...

Walter: You girls are late, where were you?
Bianca: We were having sex with the soccer team, it took longer than expected.
Walter: Funny, young lady you come back here.
Kat: Dad usually I enjoy this but this time let it go, she's had a tough day no one sent her a stinking carnation.
Walter: Oh I see. (shocked) I'm sorry are you experiencing sympathy?
Kat: Don't get me wrong she really shouldn't let someone else opinion effect her like this. Who cares if some guy she's barely met didn't spend two bucks to buy her a flower. I'm mean really all she knows about this guy is that he's rumor to be a cannibal. Still when she didn't get one it upset her, but what's even more upsetting is she let herself care in the first place. She's so pathetic. (he knows she's talking about herself) Poor Bianca.
Walter: I'm going to go tell her that's she's right no guy should make her doubt how amazing she is. But I'm also going to tell her that part of high school is getting hurt. And there is no way to avoid it, she's just going to have to learn to pick herself up and move on.
Kat: You should tell her that, she would really appreciate it.

Kat: I just have one thing to say to you. I'm not that girl.
Patrick: What girl?
Kat: The girl who's turned on by this bad boy crap. I'm not skipping home to scribble in my journal that maybe you're a vampire.
Patrick: Noted.
Kat: You don't have to beat people up for me, I can do that myself.
Patrick: I'm sure you can, but I didn't beat anyone up.
Kat: Yeah right.
Patrick: Scouts honor, now do you mind. (starts up bike)
Kat: Helmet.
Patrick: (pretends not to hear) I'm sorry what?

Patrick: I need to show you something.
Kat: Careful that's borderline sexual harassment.
Patrick: Aww borderline, clearly I'm not trying hard enough. Same shirts.
Kat: Wow two things that match pretty soon you'll be reading.
Patrick: Still you know about their show tonight?
Kat: Of course.
Patrick: That's funny usually pretty girls are very good liars. (writes on her arm) Here the club is called Live Bait, of course you'll need a fake id.
Kat: And you (writes manners on his arm) need some manners.

Patrick: Looking for me?
Kat: Yes, if you were the ladies' room.
Patrick: Just admit it, your happy to see me.
Kat: Don't flatter yourself, I came for the band, I know every song by heart.
Patrick: Of course you do.
Kat: You know I'm sure to you there songs are just a groovy soundtrack for banging chicks. But their lyrics are poetry. I know where I am, it's scroll high on the hill as we're raising through canyons of angels.
Patrick: Next time I'm banging chicks I will have to pay more attention.
(they both smile)

Patrick: Here's your chance.
Kat: Ooo goody.
Patrick: Come on, you want me to kiss you.
Kat: The lead singer yes, you not so much.
Patrick: You sure about that?
Kat: I'm just standing here, your the one moving closer. (they're about to kiss when her phone rings) I got to take this, maybe those lines will work on someone else.

(Patrick is lying on the grass and throws something but misses the litter bin)
Kat: Pick it up.
(Patrick just looks at her)
Kat: Oh. (mocking) Do you have trouble hearing?
(Patrick just keeps staring. Kat picks the litter up, but the he throws something else)
Kat: Real mature. (Kat picks it up again)
Patrick: I just like watching you bend over.
Kat: Oh, that's nothing. You should watch me do this.
(Kat kicks the litter bin and throws all the litter over Patrick. People gasp.)
Kat: Now you know how the Earth feels.

Principal: What happen?
Kat: He littered.
Patrick: Which trigger some kind of psychotic break.

Patrick: Can't stay away can you. (Kat holds up his bag) Did you sneak a peak?
Kat: I was going to, but my hazmat suit is at the cleaners.

Patrick: You know I think I finally figured you out. You dump trash on me, you go out of your way to get detention, you steal my backpack. Your obsessed with me.
Kat:What can I say you nailed it, you and me in these sexy vest picking up trash. The sweet stench of garbage in the air, welcome to my dream date.

Patrick: It's ok that your obsessed with me, just admit it.

Patrick: You can go if you want.
Kat: No I'll stay.
Patrick: Because your obsessed with me.

Kat: Hey, what's going on?
Patrick: Just wrapping up another day in paradise.
Kat: Listen about the other day I just wanted to say. I'm sorry, I shouldn't have gone through your bag or stab you in the foot.
Patrick: But lets keep are distance, the doctor said it would heal faster if I lower the amount of crazy in my life.
Kat: (to herself) Crazy, I'm not crazy.

(Watching Kat working on her car)
Auto shop Guy2: Twenty says she quits by the end of the day.
Auto shop Guy1: Oh, come on if everyone bets against her, there's no point in having a pool.
Auto shop Guy2: Patrick?
Auto shop Guy1: Do you wanna bet on her?
Patrick: Not while she's anywhere near power-tools.

Kat: For the record, I didn't even know you were in auto shop ok. So if you think I'm here for you, your sadly mistaken. (he doesn't respond, so she hits the car)
Patrick: Hey! (comes out cover in oil) What the hell! I got it, can we just agree on a minimal safe distance or do I have to file a restraining order?
Kat: Don't flatter yourself, and I'm not leaving here till I'm finished.

Auto shop guy1: I'm gonna clean up on this bet and spend your money on porn, and cigars, and women who don't talk back.
Kat: Well make sure to save some for therapy.
Patrick: And maybe you should save some for anger management.

(Kat has sucessfully converted her car)
Patrick: Ok, I'm impressed. So you going to take her for a ride?
Kat: Yep, now we can really keep are distance.
Patrick: Awwwww.

Cameron: (calling after Bianca)Sometimes they take a while to drop.
Patrick: The soda or your testicles?
Cameron: I'm gentle in a man, gentleman. Used to be a good thing.
Patrick: Dude your too gentle, your like that little bear that sells fabric softner.(gets up to leave)
Cameron: Wait, so how to I change that?
Patrick: Do I look like Dr. Phil?
Cameron: Look I know your scary and tough and all. But I really need advice from someone other than my friend Michael. There is a reason the only girl he's ever kissed is his cousin Ruth.
Patrick: Alright, listen girls are pack animals, you got to be the alpha dog show her you got fangs.
Cameron: I should bite her.
Patrick: Dude seriously? You got to show her you can protect her.
Cameron: I can protect her, yeah I can do it this afternoon when I'm setting up her online comers.
Patrick: Yeah you can protect her from all that unwanted spam.
