Seems like this is just a physical thing with Avery and...her. Is there any clue to how either one of them feel?

Also, the show will be ending soon probably, so we won't have to suffer though that many more episodes of Lavery and their fans. There is some silver lining in this.

but Noah is SO boring I couldn't stand the thought of Juliette ending up with him. Ugh. And there was like zero chemistry there. None. I'm with Kellie please let Layla have set up the paparazzi and have Avery find out.

I am thinking she set that up after reading it again. She leads him out the backdoor of the club where he is playing to an empty alley. she must have had that planned because no paparazzi would be hiding behind the dumpster in an alley of a small nightclub unless it was pre-planned.

This is interesting. I hope she did. That means she's still scheming, which means she'll have to be found out before the end. It's kind of like Chekhov's gun.

I just want to see Juliette happy. And if that's Noah at this point then so be it. I don't want to see her sitting around pining for her ex who is obviously not really thinking about her anymore.

The note about Layla "not being able to help herself" when she kisses Avery right before the photo is taken makes me question that she set it up.

Guessing Juliette ditches that Daniel guy pretty fast since he's just a sides person and assuming she has more scenes with Noah in the ep since it involves bringing back Derek Hough. Not sure if anything romantic will happen or what.

Once the photographer got the photo(s), she was ready to go back inside. Thinking set up here for sure now.

Now I'm just waiting for Layla to respond directly to Juliette's line about never being her.

420 sides are out. Only one J/A scene shown - Avery is "unsettled" watching Juliette introduce Noah to Cadence. Eat it Avery. (Yep I'm still mad at him).

Layla is off with Glenn for an event at the Bluebird.

Have no idea how anything is going to be resolved in 421.

ETA: I can't tell if anything romantic is happening between Juliette and Noah. They have been spending some time together apparently because Noah says Juliette talks about Cadence "all the time."

Avery deserves every second of it after being in Juliette's face with Layla. That said I hope not on J/N, next thing you know they will be endgame or Derek will be upped to regular if we get renewed.

I am wondering if Noah is just being brought in as a catalyst to wake Avery up and realize he doesn't want to lose Juliette for good. Noah is a good person to bring back in that regard because Avery is familiar with who he is and had been jealous of him in the past. Plus the show can try to draw some additional viewers with Derek Hough's fans. I don't think he would agree or be able to be a regular because of his Broadway play he will be starring in. According to US Weekly he will begin rehearsals in the fall. So if they did miraculously get renewed and dragged him into S5, he would be gone after a few episodes at most.

No hint of Layla being exposed or anything that would make Avery leave her in finale and even if he does, would Juliette even want to take him back if he shows up at her door after this. JJ talked about trusting Juliette again and all being an issue but I would not trust Avery either. What does it say about a guy if you guys don't work out he goes jump in your enemy's bed and throws it in your face. So we most likely won't get closure cause one episode only left in sides.

Yeah, I don't see how there will be much if any closure in 421... If Avery is going to be having doubts and changing his mind about being done with Juliette, it needs to have started long before episode 420. There is obviously a lot more to this episode that we're not seeing in the sides since we only get a snippet of their scene with Noah, so maybe there is more happening that we just don't see. Not sure what Layla's story is in this episode, but it's possible it's leading up more to everything coming out about her plan.

But regardless, if anything were to happen between J/A in the finale, I don't know how it's going to feel anything but sudden.

Yeah the press turn out for Layla things make me think it's press related to her dating Juliette's ex and not actually there to hear her sing. Layla really is using Avery for everything. But I did laugh at Rayna not showing again for an event of hers at the bluebird... such redux from earlier this season. Rayna has to be the worst label head. And I bet that is why Avery leaves Cadence with J/N because he is busy being Layla's everything
