Juliette Barnes is the country star with seemingly everything in the world. But as we get to know her, we see a broken girl looking for someone to trust and love her fully. In some ways, she sabotages herself when it comes to happiness and love, but Avery has slowly wormed his way into her heart, gaining her trust and becoming her friend.

Avery Barkley is a singer and songwriter trying to make it in Nashville. In the first season we see him fight for fame, only to realize it wasn't worth it to sell himself in exchange. He has been there for Juliette, playing on her tour and being her friend.

Honestly I am considering dropping the show after tonight's episode. That was... just NO.

Aww love that "How You Learn to Live Alone" was used as preview music.

I'm fine with S/A reaffirming that they were each other's first loves. They both seemed perfectly clear that it was in the past, and at the end of the day, Avery went to Juliette's place.

Of course, poor Juliette heard the exact wrong part of that convo and went off the rails.

Question is, when will Avery find out about Juliette?

I thought this was a great episode. I liked Scarlett more than I have in a long time, and Deacon/Beverly was interesting.

I thought this was a great episode. I liked Scarlett more than I have in a long time, and Deacon/Beverly was interesting.

My biggest issue is how they handled J/J sex. Like really, these two are like having a commun ground moment and hook up in a PUBLIC place. I know they had to have Gunnar know but this is plan ridiculous.

Right there with you, sadly. That entire episode was a suck-fest. HORRID writing, PAINFUL acting...and the entire crap with Jeff was pathetic.

but I can't imagine that kind of situation happening if they had to go back to her place (where Avery is first off) or even if they got a room... it had to be a in the moment thing for Juliette to do that.

I actually really enjoyed this episode outside of that final scene. Chip owned the episode tbh. And Gunnar is clearly finally moving back towards Scarlett. The only parts that were annoying were Scarlett claiming she'll never love anyone like Avery, and the fact that Rayna said that the future of this label rests on her album release. UM NO. She still has Juliette signed! I'm so confused.

The whole thing was so ridiculous they acted like he hasn't treated her like dirt all season. Honestly I wouldn't be surprise if they made J/J endgame after all the S/A pimping Clare has done tonight. I just can't deal with this crap. I know I am over reacting and S/A are not endgame but them being shoved down our throats as some great love being compared to D/R in interviews. Clare really outdid herself tonight with the SA pimping. Seriously, Gunnar wrote a song for Scarlett tonight! There was nothing about that....

I'm actually really emotional about the image of Avery sitting in Juliette's house while she is with Jeff

I wish we have gotten a bit of Juliette emotion over what she did after, instead of just Gunnar catching them.

but I know we are getting it next episode. And Avery telling her he feels her slipping away

I actually am in love with Sam's new song from tonight as well.

It's amazing the job they have done to repair Avery in the eyes of the audience. There was a time people didn't even want Scarlett in the same room with him out of fear he might yell at her or something. lol

Twitter was like an emotional whirlwind. Everybody was throwing blame around like on the show...tumblr is one big "Nooooo" after another. lol
