I love that scene crazy. It shows how important Pacey is to Joey. She cannot even believe that he thinks that he's holding her back when he has done the complete opposite and she says she can't promise to let him go. Like she said in the series finale, she didn't want to be let off the hook. She didn't want them to break up. Unlike with Eddie, Charlie, or even Dawson. She knew it wasn't a fantasy relationship

jopace, he was insecure and didn't think he was good enough for her. In season 6, he realizes that he is good enough for her and then she freaks out because she running from her love for Pacey because it's the real thing
