^^^Exactly, When they tried to force Dawson and Joey back together they were trying their damndest to keep Pacey and Joey away from each other and not acknowledging the deep love they have for each other (Especially the DEEP relationship they were both just in) That's not going to make people forget the epic chemistry and love story, so fail lmao.

I hated those couples (Especially Eddie/Joey for her dumping Pacey over a guy that left and dumped her ass twice) I forgot about some British lady. Was she the one with that horrible purple skunk streak in her hair? All of the couples on DC paled in comparison to Pacey/Joey, completely forgettable and forced.

I didn't mind Joey/Eddie or Pacey/Audrey, didn't like or dislike them really but yea, it bothered me that she kept going back to him after he left and came back.

I cried after she dumped him for Eddie and then he still danced with her and just left.

I found some. The reason why I'm into finding fanfics about them is because their relationship was wasted in S5 and most of S6. Amateur writers can do better than what the paid professional writers did. I'm thinking TPTB still believed JD should be endgame which why they treated PJ the way they did?

I don't know. I feel maybe they downplayed Pacey and Joey so their chemistry and epic love story in S3 and 4 wouldn't overshadow another failed Dawson/Joey attempt. Even in S6 P/J stayed together longer than the other times D/J tried to make it work, especially in S5.

Dawson's Creek is back on Netflix, so naturally I'm going through watching Joey and Pacey's love story (fast forwarding through the rest, of course. lol). I'm currently on 3x20 "The Longest Day" and I forgot how much Dawson gaslights Joey in all of this. He acts like she's his possession and that even when he doesn't want her, no one else - especially Pacey - can have her. And he ends up being a cloud over their relationship basically til the very end of the series because everyone's so worried about Dawson's feelings in all of this. It's so infuriating.

Pacey's always been the better guy - individually and especially for Joey.

At least Pacey gets to spend the rest of his life loving and being loved by Joey.
