imo D/J was blown way out of proportion. They were kids. Of course Joey loves Dawson!! He is her best friend!!! That doesnt make them a good match romantically. They were kids and they didnt know what love was. Joey falling in love with Pacey, that was real. Dawson and Joey are best friends. Pacey and Joey are meant to be together.

I like how Pacey called Dawson out about his so called history with Joey. Watching movies, then dropping each other the minute things got serious etc.. Also, Dawson never wanted Joey, unless someone else did. In Season 1. Pacey asked to kiss Joey and Dawson said yes, then no, etc.. he didn't want Joey, but didn't want her kissing anyone else. Then they broke up and again when she wanted him, he didn't. He wanted Eve. Then when he was alone, he asked why they aren't together, at his Aunt's house. I still think Dawson had a feeling Joey was growing closer to Pacey and that is the only reason he brought it up, because he knew Jen was talking about Pacey and Joey, when she brought it up in The Longest Day. Seems he only wants her, when she moves on. Which is awful.

Exactly, which is one of the many things that makes them toxic. I agree that Dawson only wanted her when someone else did. So I loved when Pacey called his delusional, hypocritical dumb ass out in that episode along with "Four to Tango." His history with Joey was all in his immature, overblown head.

^^^I don't remember that, just more proof of why I don't care about S5. Pacey would of went nuts if he heard Joey was mugged, not more concerned about getting laid SMH.

Do y’all skip seasons and episodes? Once you have seen a series live and rewatching it multiple times. Do you just skip over stuff you do like? For the longest I was the type who had to rewatch all including seasons/episodes I hated because I felt it was incomplete if I didn’t. But I no longer feel that way. I’m now okay with skipping episodes and entire seasons. I haven’t rewatched DC in a minute but S5 was terrible for PJ and don’t even remember liking that season in general. I can deal with one of my ships being apart but only if it’s written right. It’s been awhile but I remember S5 disrespecting their history and trying to pretend they just didn’t date! TPTB went back to DJ like it was pre S3! Does anyone remembers any great scenes between PJ in S5?

Yeah, I easily skip episodes and seasons I don't like. I'm usually fine rewatching episodes from S1-4 (Besides Promicide and Coda *pukes*) but I usually just ignore all of S5 and most of S6 since they were garbage in general and before the P/J reunion episodes, they acted like Pacey and Joey weren't in love and in a serious relationship. It's bogus, forced, and ridiculous but that's what happens when you try to bury your best couple on the show.

I don't do full rewatches of DC anymore. I only watch Joey and Pacey playlists, but even then, I tend to skip some eps. I am planning to do a full rewatch soon, but I will probably skip most of Season 5. I did do a full rewatch of their playlist a while back, but it was tuff sitting through some of the episodes in Season 5, esp when they were talking about Eddie and Audrey.
