Well, there are past reports from producers and LDB actors that pointed out the heat and emotion and amazing chemistry R/L had while shooting that Fall LDB scene... now with Ausiello pointing out LDB fans would be very rewarded plus Matt saying Logan and Rorisy share a very special moment all lead me to believe the LDB is a positive climax for L/R, not a positive one.

Plus, the Variety review that notes Logan was overused for no real reason seems to be on team Jess as some nitpicking Sophies on reddit pointing out... making it a possibility that this comment was her being bitter after a L/R ending.

Even Alexis comparing Logan to Christopher makes me think Rory would choose the type of guy that would fill up a missing character in her life (a man that resambles her not present dad) and not a guy who truly cares about her and suits her better.

Plus, Milo saying Jess is now "a caregiver" paints a very platonic picture in my head...

Anything could be a red herring but us hearing nothing concrete about R/J attempting a second chance at a romance (and Rory possibly in a B&B with Logan on Fall is a bad sign, even if their relationship is still casual because I can't see Jess agreeing to take any part in something of tha matter) makes it a bad sign compared to all the other humming coming from team Logan.

In terms of them being like Christopher and Lorelai, it could be more like how Chris was the guy Lorelai always circled around, they were constantly coming back to one another but he wasn't who she wanted in the end. Luke was the friend, the guy that was always there for her no matter what. I feel that is how Jess is being played here. Hopefully, Rory will apprieciate it!

I hope so, too! But people are different and they can appreciate different things. I read that episode rank on Vox yesterday and they analyse characters in ways that got me thinking. Like, how Rory's been scarred from her father not being there and always leaving, that for her, being left is the worst thing a guy can do to her. So Jess leaving without saying goodbye could be worst in her eyes than say, Logan cheating on her with multiple women.

Maybe Amy would want Rory to end up with a Christopher to point out the difference in her and Lorelai's journeys. I honestly hope she doesn't. This is taking way too much emotional energy out of me.

I sadly agree and think ASP wants to give Rory the life her mother could not get under the right circumstances, the education, the career, the freedom and then also the type of guy, like christopher always had the potential to be like... I am actually also starting to think they want us to be surprised with RL, since they are showing RJ scenes in the trailers... And why would there be so much talk about LBD after so long if it wont have any connection to RL and a possible "special" ending...

the Logan/Chris comparison makes sense if you read the EW review, where they refer to Logan as "he's the future or baggage that needs to be dropped" or something along those lines ...because Chris's role in the GG narrative was basically just that, baggage from the past. David Sutcliffe was on the gilmore guys podcast recently and he said Amy told him right from the get go that's what Chris was always supposed to be, he was always supposed to want Lorelai back. but he ultimately wasn't the right guy.

I honestly don't see ASP making Rory ending up with Logan based on that. Chris was always the "wrong" one. I think that's what will be L/R storyline will be about, letting go of the past.
