That's probably because they used 3 shots in this one.... They filmed Jenny's close-up with one, Emma's close-up in another and then the third was a 2 shot. So they had to cut in 3 shots so it looks choppy.

The scene doesn't unfold naturally for sure. Which is pretty sad, considering emotional impact is very closely linked to the time you're giving the scene (and subsequently the audience) to breathe.

yeah its one of the main problems with using handcams it always comes across as choppy when the scenes are edited back in... that's cool i used to be on the news crew at mine where i did all the video editing, i'm such a nerd... yours is at least cool
