Welcome to the first Jason Morgan & Sam McCall Appreciation Thread

First Proposal
Jason: Do you want to marry me? Because I want to marry you. I want you in my life.
Sam: Are you sure this isn't about Hope?
Jason: She made everything clearer, but I'd be asking you anyway. When you moved out, it made me realize how important you are to me. How everything changed because of you. You asked me questions, you made me think about things I hadn't before. You trusted me, you opened up to me. And I found myself trusting you too. I started looking forward to seeing you, thinking about you during the day, actually wanting to be home.
Sam: I was feeling all of those things too.
Jason: Sam, you are the person I want to be with. When you walked out on me, I missed you terribly.
Sam: I missed you too, Jason. More than I ever thought I would.
Jason: Please, I want you to stay. Forever. I love you.
Sam: I never, ever expected to hear you say you love me. I couldn't imagine you saying that.
Jason: Yeah, for a long time I couldn't either.
Sam: What changed your mind?
Jason: You. Your honesty, and I decided that I had to be honest too. Sam, love isn't always enough. I still have other commitments. I'm part of a business that is brutal and illegal.
Sam: I know.
Jason: My work is not going to change. So you seriously need to think about the risks and the stress and if you can't live with it, I'll just deal with it.
Sam: Jason. I have lived most of my life with danger and the possibility of getting hurt, and it just makes the good times all the more precious. Listen, I don't want to change who you are.You have to understand that.
Jason: I will do everything I can to protect you.
Sam: I told you, I'm a survivor. You don't have to do that.
Jason: Hopefully, you'll do more than just survive.
Sam: Wow. I've been through a lot in my life. I put the one thing I have never, ever experienced was falling in love and having it returned. Now I know what it is because it is what I'm feeling right now. And I'm scared. I love you too, Jason. I do. And I want to marry you, so yes. My answer is yes.
*kiss*

First Kiss
Sam: "Now we are gonna do it right here, right now. Dancing."
Jason: "What? No."
Sam: "Yeah, come on."
Jason: "I don't do dancing, no."
Sam: "Well, you do now. Come on. You put your arm here, and your other arm here.
Jason: "You need to get some rest."
Sam: "Please, Jason, come on. I doubt I'm even going to remember tomorrow. Please?"
*Jason and Sam dance, with her stumbling because she's drunk.*
Jason: You know what? You should probably get some sleep.
Sam: What? No, Jason come on.
Jason: Well, you don't have to step on my feet.
*They fall on the floor, and she kisses him.*
Sam: I've been wondering what it would be like to kiss you. I'd be going along and I'd be thinking in the back of my head, what would it be like to kiss Jason? And now I know, it makes me feel...dizzy. The whole world is spinning.
*She turns over and goes to sleep.*

Jason: I don't like to dance, but I don't mind dancing with you.
Sam: I'm honored.

Sam: What do you think our kids would be like?
Jason: What do you mean?
Sam: What do you mean, what do I mean? A little bit of me, a whole lot of you? A little bitty person wrapped up in one.
Jason: I don't know, I don't really think like that.
Sam: Let's just say that we had a daughter and she was brave and practical like you.
Jason: Okay. Beautiful and stubborn like you.
Sam: (laughs) Maybe you will pass down that neglected doctor gene.
Jason: Or maybe our kid will be like him or herself and be like neither one of us.
Sam: All I know is that our child, boy or girl, will be conceived in so much love. *kiss*

Sam: I don't care what a bunch of self important doctors say. When I look at you, I do not see damage of any kind. I see an extraordinary human being who feels as profoundly as anyone I have ever known. I experience your capacity of love every single day of my life. I saw it in your eyes, and I felt it in your touch when my baby we wanted so badly was inside of me. And I saw your grief when we lost her, and your sorrow mirrored mine, and so did your healing. So do not, do not talk to me about a bunch of doctors who don't know you, say about your inability to love. Because I know better.

Sam is bored during a thunderstorm.
Sam: It's gonna be a long night.
Jason: Which is why we need a distraction. There's gotta be something to do.
Sam: Okay, alright. How about a game?
Jason: (Skeptical) What kind of game?
Sam: Aha! Alright. I hereby challenge you to a game of dominoes. What? You not feeling confident enough to take me on?
Jason: I'm gonna win.
Sam: (Laughs) Oh, no you are not. In fact, I am so sure of myself, I'm willing to raise the stakes right now. Every round you lose, because I'm gonna win, you have to take a round of tequila.
Jason: Oh, so you are gonna try to beat me and get me drunk?
Sam: Oh yeah, uh huh. Trust me, I'm gonna do whatever it takes. Trust me.
Jason: I'm sure you will.
*later on* Sam is extremely drunk.
Jason: Its time to stop.
Sam: You know what? I'm not gonna stop. You are either gonna play another round or condede the match.
Jason: What are you doing? Don't spit on me!
Sam: (Laughing) Jason, I'm on a losing streak. I'm sorry I spit on you, I'm on a losing streak. So why not just save us some time, and I'm gonna have myself another shot of tequila.
Jason: No, you're not. You're gonna get sick.
Sam: Okay! If I'm gonna get sick, then help me out. Then do a girl a favor and concede the match.
Jason: But that's blackmail.
Sam: Hey, whatever works, right?
Jason: Put the drink down.
Sam: (whispers) Three little words. 1, 2, 3. You know you want to say it. You. Win. Sam. Say it! (Turns his face to hers)
Jason: Okay, you win.
Sam: YES! Yes, I won!
*kisses*

Sam: I thought she kicked.
Jason: You were dreaming.
Sam: I know. Just for a second, everything was like it was before. She was still with us and she was ok. Everything hurts so bad.
Jason: Just hold on to me.
Sam: Jason? When will the pain go away?
Jason: Never.

Yep, I hate Guza for what he did to this couple. They are awful now.

But what they were, that's what I love to remember. I have Lisa to thank for that! She got me invested again.

I miss old school JaSam. Jason sucks now, I despise him.

Grr Alexis ruined everything. I still blame SOS on her. Alexis got Jason to push Sam away, and she pushed Ric away, leading to Sic and Jiz that night. The night that ruined everything.

I miss JaSam.

Thanks Cass! I don't know anything of JaSam's story in the last year or so, so I didnt' realize that is the reason Jiz and Sic had sex. Ugh! I hate Alexis, I still blame her for Lila's death.
