As for whether or not Michael is really dead. Unless they put him in a four year coma, I think he's going to be dead dead. The reason I think that is based on how they apparently kill him...as a side effect of where he was shot. And they've been building up to it with how he can't pass his physical. It's the kind of thing the show actually does kind of well when they absolutely know where they're headed.

In addition, he's not really working on a hot case that we know about where he'd end up in witness protection or where he'd get kidnapped. Maybe it's going on and we don't know about it but I don't think that's how they'd kill him.

You are right. I found that scene where Michael is in pain and Rafael asks if he is okay suspicious. Michael made it seem like he just needs to get into shape again even though his face made it clear he was in pain. They have been building up to this.

I am interested in seeing how the next few episodes pan out and how it leads to what we know happens after the jump.

OMG they cannot be serious about recreating the J/M meet cute!!!!! Including the side from 313, it will be FOUR times that we've been subjected to their initial meeting. Seriously writers it was not cute enough to warrant all this revisitation!!!!! Does J/M ever live in the present?

Episode 10 must be the Michael death since Jennie is credited as a writer.

Yeah it's episode 10 for sure. Ivonne said it would be 3 episodes in and that would be 3×10. That's where they have 7 year old Michael.
And by 3×11 A/E are grown, Rafael is with Abbey and the hotel has been remodeled

Do Jane and Michael ever live in the present??? That's a good question! The never seem to be in the present. The only times they have ever talked about the future, it has been rushed. It all seemed to be in terms of who they were rather than who they are now.

I'm pretty sure Michael dies in Ep 10. The only thing I'm not sure about being in Ep10 is the second Mateo scene, in his bedroom at night. It feels like an ending to an episode but it doesn't feel like the right ending for the episode.

Here how I think ep10 goes: -
- Flash back of Michael as a seven year old.
- Jane and Michael are stressed about trying to get her writing published/ getting a job with a publisher and him getting ready for the LSATs.
- Rogeilio stressing about his movie premier.
- Jane goes for an interview.
- Rafael decides to turn himself in.
- Petra will be doing Petra things.
- Jane and Michael try to recreate their first date in order to relax??? Maybe Jeannie sees it as some sort of full-circle thing?
- Jane gets the job.
- Michael goes to take his test.
- Jane, Alba and possibly Xo, attend Ro's movie premier.
- Michael collapses and dies at his test.
- Flash forward three years.
- Jane struggling to get to Ro's wedding because of Mateo.

Possibly some things maybe after the time jump?

I'm getting chills just reading Coco Cat's rundown. The episode is going to be killer (no pun intended). I'm disappointed that Jennie is writing it though. Her episodes are usually meh.

I hope Scott dies in this episode. It seems like he is dead in the future.

I kinda like Bruce. Rogelio was still over the top. Oh and I get the episode hours earlier so next time I will write a more detailed review.
