Jane Eyre/Mr Rochester #Because she came back

I first saw the 1997's version maybe 2 years ago and fell in love with the couple. I have since then read the book, but I laways find the movies better. I watched the newest from 2006 about 2 days ago and it's my favorite version. But the 1997 one is not close behind.

Anyway, as I said before, I fell in love with the couple and I concider it as the biggest love story in a movie.

The 2006 version is, imo, not only one of the best love stories ever, but one of the greatest period dramas, as well. It's just--magnificent in every aspect.

I haven't see that many perod dramas, actually. Just the Jane Eyre's and Pride and Predjudice. :-) But Jane Eyre is better

I made som caps a few days ago. It's only of the 1st episode this far. I'm gonna do more soon

Oh, I LOVE Jane Eyre! Both the book and the movie(s) are fantastic (especially the one capped above - I watched the entire thing on YouTube). It might be my favorite love story ever.

I've seen the 1944 movie with Orson Welles & Joan Fontaine, and I just love these characters together!

I have seen both the 90's and 00' version. I have not soon the 44 one though. I bet it is good. The story really is a good one to tell. I really do like the 2006 version. I have it on DVD after watching the whole thing on youtube.

Like I've been saying for a while in the couples of the moment thread, I had never read the book but I just saw the 2006 mini-series and it was brilliant. I made screencaps for the first 2 episodes and I'm now working on making some of the other two.

The mini-series made me want to read the book.

I think because i saw it in my childhood, i really have a soft spot for the William Hurt version. I havent seen the Timothy Dalton version yet. Aparently there are mixed feelings but many fans love his portrayel. My favourite is the Toby Stevens/Ruth Wilson version though. I love Michael Fassbender, but the longer mini-series left more time to exlore the entire novel.
