As far as fans being vocal about how they did not like season 8, I have heard they were very vocal about it. They made petitions to get Jackie and Hyde back together, I even heard rumors they booed at the live tapings.

As for where they would be today, I would like to think happily married.

That sounds about right. I can not believe they knew they were pissing off the fans and ignored them. I know, you can not let fans dictate the story, but you also have to know your audience. It's a fine line, but they failed.

I love that! I can see that. Eric and Donna may have gotten married and divorced but they made it work. Maybe Jackie went into broadcasting, like the brief mention, on the show.

They really could have made season eight work if written properly but they did not care about that. I get so annoyed when I know how season seven was originally supposed to end for Jackie and Hyde.
