I don't think I've ever actually watched Season 8. Maybe an episode or two when it was on tv, but never as a whole.

Yeah, but the fans didn't let the Castle showrunners get away with it. I wonder if the show was around now if fans would've gotten a say in what happened?

You mean, would the fans have let That 70’s Show get away with the horrible ooc writing in the final season? Idk, I do know they would have been vocal.

I can definitely see them being vocal about it, since I've seen happen with other shows with much less OOC writing.

They'd definitely have been vocal. I just wonder if the producers/writers would've listened like the Castle ones did??
