Hi, first post here, i just saw the finale and WOW. It was a shocker. I cannot wait now for next season, it's weird, I had stopped watching a bit till the hand hold scene (what can I say I hold out for Jate) but this last eppy got me excited about it all.

I loved the ILY, I knew he'd be the first to say it and she wouldn't say it back, but Kate's jealousy was still in full force, and her stares at him, and her "Jack" when he told Locke to go ahead and shoot! Ahh.

Other than balling with Charlie's death, I also cried with those future clips. Matthew Fox did amazing, but it was so sad. Of course though, their future is theirs to change!

My favorite moment in the episode, even though it was really angsty, was the flashforward scene. You could tell that Kate was being harsh with Jack because she was trying to be strong and not yield to the feelings she has for him. I loved when Jack grabbed her by the shoulders and told her not to go. You could cut the tension with a knife and something tells me that 2 things happened 1) this is not their first meeting at the airport: they either must have carried on an affair behind the 'he' s back or something happened between Jate on the island and 2) something really bad happened to tear them apart like this. I can't wait to find out how the events unfolded.

One scene that I love more and more the more I see it is the ILY scene. I wished that we had not been spoiled for that moment in the promo because the promo pretty much gave everything away. However, the more you watch that scene, the more you pick up its subtle details, like Kate's reaction to the ILY for instance: she is obviously shocked, then moved but then, if it hadn't been for an icon mysticxf had made out of the screencapture, I wouldn't have noticed the 'WTF did I just do with Sawyer now when I could have had Jack all along' reaction Kate had as she was walking away.

I thought the ending FF scene was beautiful...you could tell she wanted to give into that almost kiss, so badly!

And, yep, I've caught all the details in the ILY scene, it was amazing. She swallows just like she did when Danielle asked her if she cared about Jack...it's just so real to her, her feelings for him.

I loved all their moments in this one.

One thing I loved is how she pointed out that Sawyer would never stick up for Jack. I think it shows a huge contrast on how they love her (I do believe Sawyer loves her, just not like Jack). Jack loved her so much and just want her to be happy, even if that means comforting her when he thinks she's pining over Sawyer.

The ILY was so beautiful, Matthew is genious really. It was so soft, and simple. So matter of fact. He wasn't expecting anything in return, he was just being completely honest.

And I lOVED the FF scenes. Amazing acting, painful, and proof that Jate is the center of this show. Now they will change the present to change their future. Cause of course they're not getting off the island!

Any thoughts on who was dead? I immediately thought Sawyer.

it's got to be someone they didn't like IMO, so i was thinking Locke or Michael, i dont know...
i definitely agree about what you said, they are gonna change the present.

Somebody was apparently able to catch on HDTV what the newspaper add said when Jack first read it on the plane. It's apparently a funeral for someone (who is obviously using a fake name) who left a teenage son in mourning. My guess? It's Michael and the teenage son left in mourning is Walt.
