Man, **** those people. It's always the same ****. The people who get their freakin' way actually have the nerve to bitch. If JE had prevailed, they'd be crying and yelping just like us. ****ing hypocrites. They should be busy being happy. Instead, they're gonna be ****heads and kick us while we're down. Chicken****s.

The boring couple always wins, meaning those same people ALWAYS get their ship so they have no ****ing clue what it's like.

And yeah, there are a few people who came to the DMC party who said they were staying away until after the movie. But I don't think we need the spoiler tags anymore. All of us are just about as spoiled as you can get

I will always chose the sexier, more emotionally-charged couple. Even if it means this happens again. Who wants the boring same-old same-old typical cheesy couple

I hate to have to be the bearer of bad news, but the end scene after the credits has been seen. It's the same as the 100 pager. Lizzie singing SHE AND JACK'S SONG

with Whelpiam Jr. And then a flash of green and Will returns.

Yep. That's our "kick-ass ending"

I'm accepting that it's the truth on screen, but in my mind it will never be the true ending for J/E or for any of the characters, for that matter.

I have faith that Johnny and Keira will add the same sex appeal and undeniable chemistry that they have had in CotBP and DMC. I mean hello they had to cut out three scenes in CotBP to make W/E seem like the better ship. J/E had too much freaking chemistry. And this is not just a Sparrabether saying this. This is from the DVD commentary.

Why not use that chemistry then, you tools?

And, as usual J/E have more scenes together than W/E so I'm sure we will get as much loveliness as Johnny and Keira can pull off what with the crap they have been given to work with.

EDIT: What!? She AND Jack sing that song at the end. The writers and everyone else are really going out of their way to piss us off. That's just rude. I actually hate the Elizabeth character now because of all this. Thanks a lot Gore, Ted, Terry and Jerry. Screw them. They should know better. I gave them way to much credit all this time. I should have known something was up when they started getting defensive way before we found out the truth.

Just have to add, my son got his new Disney Adventure's magazine for the month - the magazine that featured the two J/E cartoons and the DMC cartoon where it called Elizabeth "the woman Jack loved" This month's cartoon is Pintel/Ragetti. So, once again W/E get nada. Well, except this ishy ending

They can have it. I wouldn't even like that ending if it was Jack that Lizzie was waiting 10 years for. But then again, Jack would never ask her to do that.

Yep. Again their equivalent of kicking a puppy. Oh and the fact that the kid looks exactly like freaking Johnny Depp. Remember those two pics we had. I think if I were Will I might ask for a paternity test

I agree we should all post over at wordplayer. They closed it down yesterday. They knew they were going to get bombarded with complaints. They should. I also placed way too much faith in the team. I mean, I thought they wouldn't do everything they did in CotBP and DMC and then make AWE a ****ty movie. Well, guess I was way wrong there

TnT can stop complaining about the Star Wars comparisons now. AWE couldn't touch RotJ with a ten foot oar

I agree, it's not Keira's fault or the character of Elizabeth's fault but this whole scenario cast a very bad light on Lizzie. Lizzie is just such an amazing character and I think we all feel a little protective of her. Jack, too. We don't want anyone messing with them. And unfortunately, that's what happened.

Maybe while the premiere was going on Keira was at home playing with her Jack and Lizzie dolls and posting incognito on this thread. We know she's as much of a Johnny fan girl as we are

and she's the one who begged for the kiss in the first place.

If one of your girls was Keira you'd tell us, right?

It's like everything Jack and Lizzie became in DMC was completly disregarded and ignored.

It's not about the fact that we didn't "win" If people think we Sparrabethers wanted to win just to beat W/E than they have no clue what we are about. It's about the fact that they have stripped away any and all of the layers they gave L/J and made them both one-dimensional cut-out characters.

Jack is back to being the drunk fopppish pirate and Lizzie is back in her corset and confines. Why did they progress them as characters only to put them back in the exact same place they started in?

And are they even going to bother answering the things they laid out for us in DMC? How do you explain the compass? How do you explain ALLLLLL the foreshadowing? How do you explain those carts? What about the writer's DVD commentary?

And the marketing??? I guess they like decieving us when they know they'll get our money.

Maybe the marketing people should have written the movie since they obviously knew what the people wanted more than TnT did.

And speaking of the people, how about the People's Choice award for best couple. That's nifty isn't it? How the best couple of the year doesn't even get a little kiss goodbye before Lizzie scampers off to have sex with the heartless wonder.

The whole thing is a nightmare.

I was a Pirates fan because I loved the aspect of "freedom" and "brotherhood" I guess Lizzie wasn't paying attention to Jack's speech about freedom on the island. She was probably too busy undressing him with her eyes

And also, I loved the idea that a pirate can also be a good man. So let's recap what are the apparent rewards for pirates who are also good (wo)men.

Norrie: dies
Jack: gets nothing but a bottle of rum and a little boat
Lizzie: gets to babysit a heart and Whelpiam Jr. for 10 years

The only one who gets a "reward" at the end is the ONE person who's not a pirate - Will.

Sorry. He's not a pirate. But he sure does get a happy ending doesn't he. Somebody over at Disney must be an Orli fan girl.

That is what ticks me off the post. All of the great J/E scenes we got in DMC are completely disregarded and ignored. Unbelievable.

I could have MAYBE accepted a barfworthy W/E ending if J/E wasn't ignored and disregarded but since it was, I'll never accept THIS ending (IF it's true).

I don't know why the W/E fans think that us J/E fans just wanted to "win" over them. That has never been the case. Us J/E fans love them together, because we believe they are the better match and because the actors have unmatchable chemistry onscreen. If anything, I believe it's the other way around. The W/E fans wanted to "win" over us. They got their wish but it's not a happy ending for them.

That is something I will never get. They never should have changed Jack's character so drastically in DMC along with Elizabeth's only to turn back around to be like they were in the beginning/throughout COTBP.

I doubt the writers will even explain the compass, and all the foreshadowing and that's what really ticks me off. Because I do not believe all the foreshadowing, symbolism, and analyzing some of us J/E fans have done was all for NOTHING. I refuse to believe it and I'll never be able to accept it.

That seems to be true. They never should have marketed J/E together. Since W/E end/ended up together, they should have packaged them together. Ugh. It seems T&T completely ignored all the fan support for J/E after DMC came out, and the awards J/E won, especially the People's Choice one, you didn't see W/E win that one.

It does suck that we get no goodbye kiss, but we'll always have the one in DMC. The hottest onscreen kiss ever.

I just can't wrap my mind around Will getting EVERYTHING he wants. He'll get to know the father he's never known and he gets the freaking GIRL too. I'm sorry but that's not right. And WTF is up with OB saying in all these interviews that Will would have to choose between his father and Elizabeth? So much for that. Because he gets BOTH.

Jack, the true HERO of this trilogy gets NOTHING. He's done more noble stuff than Will and has proved he's a good man. He should have gotten the girl and Will could have gotten his father. But nooooo.

Really, now I would love to hear Johnny and Keira's opinions on the ending of this trilogy and if they think it remained true to their characters and if the ending fit.

Also, I'm begging them to please do a different movie together. I want to see that great chemistry in action onscreen. Explore it to the fullest potential since they never bothered to in AWE.
