And okay, another thing. Lizzie is left with no one. NO ONE. She has no family, no friends, nothing but Will's thump thump and a bun in the oven. And I believe she lives at Shipwreck Cove, so she lives with Jack's dad. Boy that must be awkward when Jack comes home to see his dad for Christmas.

I also get mad at the people who are judging us for being angry. As if we're little kids throwing a fit because we didn't get our way. They have no clue. It's not about getting our way. It's about what has been done to our characters. If J/E had gotten decent endings, like they both sail off alone or even she stays with Will but to pass the time for 10 years has her own adventures, I think we would have all been okay with that.

But not this.

Jack: Ahh yes, well so you had me and my compass all vexed and I died for you, and then you risked everything to bring me back and then apparently you decided you prefer pretty boys to bad boys and chose Will and then GUESS WHAT... It was the damndest thing. Out of the blue my compass started to work again and I found a lovely little bottle of rum and we're quite happy together. I mean, he'll never mean as much to me as my jar of dirt. But it's a good relationship none the less.

Teague: Elizabeth, how in the hell could you have picked the eunuch over my boy?

Lizzie: Don't blame me. Blame the writers.

Jack: Yes, where are those writers? I want to shoot something.

I'm sorry but ten years is a LONG ass time. There's just no way that you would still love someone. I don't care how much you loved them at the beginning. You may care, but the love would fade. God, could you imagine not holding anyone or kissing anyone or having sex for ten freakin' years?? How sad for her.

Whatever. I love how the adventurous and pirate-loving, ass-kicking Lizzie just suddenly becomes ok with sitting around and waiting for ten years.

Yeah, it didn't take her long to forget about the whelp when he was away a few measly days. She was all over Jack, flirting her little ass off, but yet, suddenly she becomes a stepford wif.... OMG! Cyborgs! They're spreading to POTC. That's like stepford wife territory. *gasp!*

The pod-people that infected T7S infected the POTC people and there's only ONE way that could have happened.

If you truly loved someone why would you want them to give up their entire lives for ten frickin' years to sit around waiting for you to come back. What kind of love is that????

His line to her before he leaves on his little 10 year vaca is the same line he used in DMC when he went off to find Jack. "Kepp a weather eye on the horizon" Translation: You sit tight, honey, and let me go do my manly stuff.
