Well, I woke up this morning and it appears that the crap-hole ending was not just a bad dream. Of course not, because my dreams are good, unlike this ending.

Perhaps we should all start shipping boring, safe couples with no chemistry whom we are merely told love each other instead of the hot, sexy, passionate and perfect for each other couples whom we watch fall in love.

One second thought, never mind.

I'll ship the exciting couples every time. Even if it means constantly getting the shaft.

The only good that will come out of this is awesome fan fic. Sad that the Sparrabeth writers out there come up with better stories than the actual writers.

this is all sad that i keep hearin all the same thing for our ship...so i keep hearin that its not gonna look good for us shippers..........but im not backin out of the movie im still going to see it no matter what.............i want to know for real that happends really

Yep. Isn't that lovely. What a peach of an ending. And from what we've heard their final scene turns them into nothing more than comic relief. What a waste.

But you are right, they will always rule the world!!!

And when Jack and Lizzie take off on their first pirating adventure together, I hope they head straight for Disney HQ and pilfer and pilage their sexy, weasly black guts out

UGH!! I can't believe this is happening...

I was on the msn with lis since saturday waiting for the news... and when we got the confirmation I still couldn't believe it...

What the hell was that?!! They killed the damn story ¬¬'' I'm soo angry right now... Last night I cried soo much, I just couldn't understand how did I let myself be fooled by JB and TnT!!
I'm pretty sure that I won't watch the damn movie... only if someone say it's worth it... which I doubt it..

I agree I'll take the sexy ship over the boring one anyday. Even if it means we never seem to get our ending.

People will take this and turn it into amazing fan fic, that's one good thing to come out of this.

I hear you, tatablp, I was planning on seeing the movie Thur, Fri and Sun. But now I'm only going to see it once. I'm going to bring a very large bucket to vomit in during the W/E sex scene

It's like throwing salt on our wound, isn't it.

Will sure seemed to get over watching her make out with Jack prettty quick. I'd say the whelp is the only one who gets a happy ending here. Cause it sure as hell isn't Jack.

And another thing, I can't believe they literally gave away the ending in trailers? How dumb is that. All this supposed secrecy from JB and the ending was right there for all to see.

Yep that horse poopy script was the real deal all along. And here we were thinking that the writers couild never have come up with so lame of an ending for such an amazing trilogy. How wrong we were.

And now the only thing I can hope is that that line about "Every king needs a queen" from the German novel actually makes it into the movie. At least that has some depth to it.

Do you guys know what Jack's last line is to Lizzie???

She leans in to kiss him goodbye and he stops her and says, "Once was enough."

It's like they're trying to make us cry. And this takes place after the "It would never have worked" lines. So we freaking KNOW that he realizes it would have.

I completely agree, tanith. After everything I've read, I've now decided not to see AWE. I'll just rent it when it comes out on DVD. It's like T&T IGNORED DMC completely and all the J/E subtext/foreshadowing as well as the anti-W/E subtext and their relationship being doomed. Ugh. Making it seem like J/E and Jack was a bump in the road for W/E's "true love". GAG ME PLEASE. Thankfully we won't have to see W/E going at it and see this sex scene, if I did and was in the theater, I would be barfing all over the place. From what I saw in DMC, and what T&T themselves said J/E and Jack were never a bump in the road. But I guess that was a lie. And please don't get me started on J/E just being a passing fancy to each other. Jack being vexed with Elizabeth for a freaking year, as well as his compass pointing to her, and now all of a sudden in AWE bam Jack is no longer vexed by Elizabeth and his compass points to a bottle of rum. Also, let's not forget that Elizabeth did have very deep feelings for Jack, but apparently those feelings completely disappeared in AWE. WTF? As far as I'm concerned, this trilogy ended in DMC.

This is not only a waste of J/E, because they would have went down as one of the best movie couples ever (actually they will go down in my book as one if not the best movie couple ever even though they didn't end up together) but it was such a waste of the great chemistry between Johnny [Depp] and Keira [Knightley]. It's really unbelievable how this ended up.

This ending is SEXIST and T&T should be ashamed of themselves. It's not kick-a$$ as they have said. It's a complete kick in the a$$, slap/punch/spit in the face ending. I feel so cheated and used. Elizabeth is ruined as a character and all the development she went through went down the drain and Jack is back to being the same person he was in/at the end of COTBP. I just can't believe Jack ended up with NOTHING afterall. My all-time favorite movie character ends up like this. It makes me feel bad for Johnny because he loves this character and put so much into him and it's like it was all for nothing. Ugh. Congratulations T&T, you KILLED this franchise.

ETA: IF this doesn't turn out to be the ending then I take back all of what I said. But unfortunately I don't see that being the case. I think this ending is the real deal. I would give ANYTHING for it not to be. I really would.

Lizzie kisses everyone. She kisses Sao, she kisses Norrie (I don't mind that the poor guy dies, at least let him have a kiss) and she kisses Will. But, of course, no kiss from Jack. I guess the writers just wanted to rub it in. It's their version of kicking a puppy. They don't even give us one last kiss.

It's like everything Jack and Lizzie became in DMC was completly disregarded and ignored.

It's not about the fact that we didn't "win" If people think we Sparrabethers wanted to win just to beat W/E than they have no clue what we are about. It's about the fact that they have stripped away any and all of the layers they gave L/J and made them both one-dimensional cut-out characters.

Jack is back to being the drunk fopppish pirate and Lizzie is back in her corset and confines. Why did they progress them as characters only to put them back in the exact same place they started in?

And are they even going to bother answering the things they laid out for us in DMC? How do you explain the compass? How do you explain ALLLLLL the foreshadowing? How do you explain those carts? What about the writer's DVD commentary?

And the marketing??? I guess they like decieving us when they know they'll get our money.

Maybe the marketing people should have written the movie since they obviously knew what the people wanted more than TnT did.

And speaking of the people, how about the People's Choice award for best couple. That's nifty isn't it? How the best couple of the year doesn't even get a little kiss goodbye before Lizzie scampers off to have sex with the heartless wonder.

The whole thing is a nightmare.

I was a Pirates fan because I loved the aspect of "freedom" and "brotherhood" I guess Lizzie wasn't paying attention to Jack's speech about freedom on the island. She was probably too busy undressing him with her eyes

And also, I loved the idea that a pirate can also be a good man. So let's recap what are the apparent rewards for pirates who are also good (wo)men.

Norrie: dies
Jack: gets nothing but a bottle of rum and a little boat
Lizzie: gets to babysit a heart and Whelpiam Jr. for 10 years

The only one who gets a "reward" at the end is the ONE person who's not a pirate - Will.

Sorry. He's not a pirate. But he sure does get a happy ending doesn't he. Somebody over at Disney must be an Orli fan girl.

I was on my way home just now and I heard a Pirates commercial on the radio and, get this, it had a bunch of lines and then says... "Starring Orlando Bloom, Kiera Knightly and Geoffry Rush. No ****ing Johnny Depp. What the **** is going on? I know it had to be an error but I mean, what the hell is that ****? Did Johnny nail one of the producer's wives or something.

He sure pissed somebody off.
