Reasons why we love Jack/Elizabeth:

1. Because he dived into the water after her, to save her.
2. Because she called him her "rescuer."
3. Because the way he had her putting his belongings back on him was enough to make you blush.
4. Because they were stranded on an island together.
5. Because when they got drunk, they were hilarious.
6. Because they're be no living with her after that.
7. Because she got rid of all his rum, and he wanted to know why.
8. Because they are the "Rum Runners."
9. Because they love singing the pirate's song together.
10. Because she stood between him and the army ready to take him away.
11. Because both their last names are types or birds...gotta mean something, right?
12. Because of the look he gave when he heard she'd be imprisoned.
13. Because when he saw her again, he had his men hide all the rum.

So true.

I ended up taped Letterman, and Johnny looked so good on there. I love that he's so non/un-hollywood and I love the fact that he's so shy and humble. He seems like such a great and very down to earth guy. I hope I get to meet him someday and I must say he is definitely the hottest 43 year old ever.

Johnny Depp is definitely one of those men who gets even better looking with age. It can't be explained. All we can do is enjoy it.

Johnny was great on Letterman, I seriously recommend you watch more of his movies. This month I suggest Secret Window, great underrated movie. Hooray on #18 thread!

Johnny is the coolest guy around like Dave said.

What's really interesting is -- if there was no sequel after this, if there was no third movie, with the basic emotional moments and what happens at the end of this one -- I would be comfortable having it go out [like this]. We would have resolved the plot of Davy Jones differently, but, in terms of what happens with Jack and Will and Elizabeth and the conclusion of our movie, I feel comfortable that it would work whether you had a sequel coming up or not.

No. Sadly he didn't. They did show the "Hide The Rum" scene though. I made my mother watch his interview tonight (She's never been a big fan) and after watching it she said he seemed like a cool guy. She like's the very dry sense of humor he's got.
