| I've just come to realize that it doesn't matter to me anymore what canon is or isn't. I saw what I saw, and what I saw was obviously too passionate and sexy and real for Disney to follow through with. Because isn't that what they're all about? Happily ever after? How could they possibly have their OTP be a pair that's constantly bickering/flirting/admiring/loathing/loving/rocking the ship?  They can't. Because it's absolutely unconventional. Well I say to hell with convention. I wouldn't be a pirate if I fell for it. And I'm quite satisfied with that conclusion.__________________ I made a noise, and it was not a noise of rejection. | I could never agree more Analise.  No matter what anyone tells me, J/E took the spotlight as one of the most interesting pair in the movies. The W/E scenes were a bore while the J/E ones were unpredictable. I mean, who knew that Lizzie was going to kiss him and lead Jack to his death in DMC? (If you didn't spoil yourself before seeing it, that is.)While I like my fair share of sugary sweetness and some happy endings, sometimes the unconventional is just more reasonable and appealing. | Hello Jess.  There is nothing wrong with a little lustin' in love. I just get so many comments from other people saying that J/E could never go beyond that. (Clueless darlings. )I remember though in the DMC commentary, TnT said that the only physical contact W/E had was through practicing their sword-fights.
