I love seeing fans of these two still. The show has been "over" for a while now and the fanbase is still pretty strong. Jack/Ianto are definitely one of my all time greatest OTPs.

I've known about the pairing for a while, but just recently fell in love with them. Though I know what happens with Ianto, I can't help but just sigh and love them.

I know. I got into Torchwood a year after Children of the Earth premiered so I already knew what happened to Ianto as well, but I still couldnt help but fall in love with him and Jack/Ianto. I'm a masochist what can I say?

I am going to be doing a Torchwood re-watch next weekend with some friends

MINE TOO. They were so short lived and honestly had the slowest of all slow burns but there was just something about them that stuck with me. I also love and adore Ianto and i miss him too

God I just did a rewatch cuz one of my friends on Twitter was watching it for the first time and I forgot how much I loved them (and Ianto Jones.) I'm still so sad.

I´ve met both actors but none of them was sad with that outcome of Jack and Ianto you know with the end of them  __________________

I think I remember John saying somewhere that Ianto's death was what made Jack do what he did in Day 5. Like Jack thought he had nothing more to lose and Ianto's death was the trigger of it being too much for him to handle.
Torchwood seems to think Gwen was Jack's moral compass but I truly believe it was Ianto. Being with Ianto reminded Jack what it was like to be human. __________________
