What's amazing about their work is that it was all them. Brad/Jane were married the whole time, so there was no "Will they or won't they?", no third parties, etc. They were a mostly a happy and healthy couple. It was refreshing to see.

I agree, it really was and it was nice to see. The writers seemed to have all sorts of ideas for them. It once again proved, that you don't need all that to have a story. A love story doesn't end at the alter.
