I think they're not so much jealous of the ship itself as they are jealous of the fact that Huddy is canon and getting all the attention, both on the show and in the media etc. Well tough luck, because our canon OTP is here to stay.

Now that I think about it, their ship never got any proper attention, I mean, when they quit trying shoving it down our throats you didn't see "what happened to, blah blah blah", nobody ever even bothered to ask any of them about it
