I know! And yet, I can't expect anything but angst before that, I mean, can you imagine how hard it will be for him to show her now that he's truly trying to change and be a better man, and how hard it will be for her to believe that?

It's angst, but in the most beautiful way.
He's not able to tell her how he feels yet so instead he tries to show her, but she's been burned more than once with him and I don't blame her for being reluctant to believe it's real. The fact that she doesn't know just how deeply he feels for her but we do makes it even more beautiful, because seeing him feel like that about her and seriously trying to be better for her is such amazing character growth for him, and seeing a man that way over a woman is the most heart melting thing in the world. |

It makes my heart flutter a little, especially when you consider the fact that it's House, and think of how far he's come to be at the point where he's able to admit to someone that he loves her.
