I´m so sad that there will not be another season, at least we got the kiss and the delated scene. IMHO they really love each other and maybe TPTB would even have let them try a relationship at the end of season 5. I mean why incluse all this romantic, dramatic sound during the kiss and then let that going nowhere.
Maybe TPTB will tell us at one point what they had in store among other things for Helen and Nikola. In my mind they are together anyway it would just be nice to have that confirmed by them, I mean what has Helen to loose? She was 113 years alone, he is the only one she could be with without him dying after 30 years and there are obviously feelings. I think she would give it a try. Do you think she contacted Henry and Nikola right after the explosion and went with them together to the new Sanctuary or went she alone and they had to come after her? I hope she contacted Tesla at all, but why wouldn´t she. During commentaries Daimian Kindler said that Tesla will never be the love of her life cause Druitt is. Do you agree or disagree? I disagree, I think at this point he didn´t know where the story of them was going to. (He said that durign filming "Sleepers" I think they are much stronger than Helen with John. |

I definitely disagree - I think her bond with Tesla was incredibly strong and he could definitely be the love of her life if they were to ever get together.
I think they would have got together eventually. He clearly loves her and she also has feelings for him - I can't see why they wouldn't eventually get over their differences and decide to give it a try! __________________
