I wish there would have been more scenes between them.There chemistry was great and hopefully in the future they will be paired together again.I can't wait for the movie to come out on DVD.

I know what you mean. I've seen it twice and I want to watch it again. I'm obsessed with Troy... and for good reason.

I really like Hector & Andromache too. They were really sweet together. Plus, Eric Bana is gorgeous!

I finally saw Troy last week and loved every moment of it.
Paris/Helen really didn't draw me in the way they were supposed to, for me it was definitely all about Hector/Andromache and Achilles/Briseis. And yes, I am another one who has fallen in love with Eric Bana after seeing him in this film. Surprisingly I only cried once during the film and that was when Hector was killed and then his body was dragged along.  And I second the gladness about not showing what really happened to Astyanax  __________________

Hector & Andromache were on my favorite couples from the movie. I also wish that they had more scenes together, but the scenes that they did have together were so good and sweet. The goodbye was heartbreaking, and when Hector kissed the baby I was about to cry. One of the saddest scenes was when Andromache was watching Hector fight, and she slid down the wall, or where she was standing, because she couldn't watch Hector die. That was so sad.
I've never read the Iliad, I've only read short stories of Helen of Troy in school so I didn't know that baby Astyanax was killed during the fall of Troy. If they would have showed that in the movies, I would have defintely started crying even more that I already did after Hector and Achilles died. __________________

I'm also glad that they didn't kill Astyanax in the movie! I was for sure that they would, and I was on the edge of my seat dreading it. That's one change I'm glad that they made. ---Violet :smurf: __________________
