I just saw Troy and I love this ship.

Thanks for starting this! -- They were my favorite couple (probably because my Eric Bana obsession is out of control
 ) I got a little teary-eyed when she was begging him not to go off and fight & when he kissed the baby goodbye (abby - love your avatar *sigh*). I've tried finding some more pictures of this couple, but was unsuccessful. Any idea where to get some? I even made a LJ icon earlier for a quick update --  __________________

I saw Troy last night and I really liked this couple.
I also got a bit teary-eyed when Hector was going to fight and said goodbye to Andromache and to his family. He was very brave. __________________

I didn't know there was a thread for Hector and Andromache. They are my favorite couple in the film, along with Achilles and Briseis. I loved both couples equally - they had tons of chemistry.
Ooh, I also developed a crush on Eric Bana. He was brilliant as Hector.  __________________

I loved Hector and Andromache since I studied Iliad at school and they were just lovely in Troy, they are my favourite couple. Their story is so true and real, but so sad. Why did he have to die?  The goodbye was heartbreaking...when he kissed his baby's forehead I was tearful (what is the name of their cute baby in English? I'm sorry I know it only in Italian: Astianatte)I'm glad you started this thread Hector has always been my favourite from Iliad, and Eric did a wonderful job for him. Yeah, I wish they had more and longer scenes with each other. That was the only thing I wasn't happy about while watching the movie. That farewell scene was so sad, the kiss on the baby's head...

I saw Troy last night and this couple was my favourite. Their scenes together were so touching. It's shame that they didn't get more screen time. When she was begging him not to go and fight I wanted to shout at him too
