It would have. I think Lucas was just desperate for it all to work out as soon as possible, & there was only one person who was desperate enough to say yes to a proposal completely out of the blue...

It's funny because it's true! Lucas wanted to get married, he pictured married life with Brooke, Peyton & Lindsay - but only one of them was really an option, Brooke & Lindsay knew that Lucas had been going through a lot & there's no way either of them would agree to an impulsive Vegas wedding like that. They knew that a relationship needed a lot more
