top 10 quotes.

Will: I’m giving up on law anyway. Sick of it.
Alicia: Back to the minors?
Will: I could have been a contender.
Alicia:I liked watching you pitch.
Will: Yeah, I had some moments
.

Alicia: I want to be here
Will: I want you to be here
Alicia: Then I am here

W: I'm sorry about this morning.
A: You don't have to be sorry.
W: Can I come in?
A: Yeah.
A: So... you're my boss.
W: I know.
A: I'm a junior associate.
W: I know. You came into my office. Last night after you left,
you came back to my office. Why?
A: Will... help me out, please? I mean, we had... We
had... whatever we had at Georgetown, and I just...
W: But you came back.
A: I know. It was wrong.
W: Because you’re married? (she doesn't answer)
W: Okay, I have a suggestion.
A: I like work. I like working here. I don't want everywhere I go to be a mess.
W: We're not going to talk about this. We’re not going to say any more, okay?
A: Good.
W: We're going to go to dinner in one week's time, and we'll talk then.
A: Please don't end up hating me. I need this job. I mean, I'm... I-I, I mean that... I'm sorry...
W: Alicia. It’s fine. We have bad timing. We’ve always had bad timing.

Will: We are in a weird place, I know.
Alicia: It' okay
Will: No, I don't like being in a weird place.
Alicia: I know, me neither.
Will: I wanna know what you're thinking.
Alicia: Sometimes I don't even know what I am thinking. Will, if it had been diferently
at Georgetown, if it had been us and not Peter, we would have last a week.
Will: No, we wouldn't have.
Alicia: We would have. It's romantic because it
didn't happen. If it had happened it would have just been life.

W: first time we met ? It was a pool party, wasn't it? Indoctrination, what do they call it?
A: Orientation.
W: It was a midnight pool party. Did you swim?
A: No. I was too shy. You were the one doing cannonballs.
W: God, that is so embarrassing.
A: It wasn't at the time.
W: So... what did you think of me?
A: Ah. No.
W: What?
A: Dangerous conversation.
W: Well, now you have to tell me. Come on, I'll tell you what I thought of you.
A: (laughs) So, Giada seems sweet.
W: (laughs) Now, there's a segue. Yes, she is sweet.
A: And third year at DePaul.
W: Yes, she's just getting her retainer out. (Alicia laughs)
A: So is it always gonna be with way, between us ?
W: I wanna say yes, but I want to know what you mean.
A: Just... talking. Being casual and...
W: Blunt? (she nods) I like around you, Alicia. I don't like myself around a lot of people.
A: You do.
W: It's an act. It's perfected over a millennium.
(They smile at each other)
W: (as Alicia's phone rings) Don't answer it. It's just life again.
A: Yes, and that's why I have to. (On the phone) Kalinda, what's up? No, I'm just with Will.
(Rolls her eyes) Nooo. Okay, I'll meet you there.
W: Nice dinner.
A: (smiles) It was worth the wait.
W: We always have options, Alicia. I'm just sayin'.

W: Okay, I just need to say it. We've been up and down,
back and forth, and I look at you, Alicia, and I think that…
A: Will...
W: No, I just need to say this.
A: No. Show me the plan.
W: The what?
A: The plan. I get the romance. I need a plan.
W: Not everything needs a plan.
A: Everything that matters does. I have two kids that mean the world to me.
I have the press, they’re just waiting for a whiff of a new scandal. And I have a
husband. So if you want to cut through all that noise, then show me a plan.
Poetry's easy; it's the parent-teacher conferences that are hard. I have to go now.
W: I- Okay.

W: We still haven't had our dinner.
A: I know.
W: You worried about Peter?
A: (sighs) I'm worried about everything.
W: I am not

(A and W are discussing about a case)
A: It's late.
W: It's like old times. Evidentiary procedure. The mock trial.
A: You remember that?
W: How could I forget ? Did we lose that one?
A: Yeah!
(both laughing)

W: Well, if you ever need anything...
A: If I ever need...?
W: Anything. Give me a call.
A: Okay, I will.

Cary: So, I have learned a lot by watching Alicia.
She's definitely got some serious skills.
W: We suspect it's a Georgetown thing.
Cary: No doubt. No doubt. Yeah, that's a long time
to stay friends, since college
and all, so it's really commendable you champion-ing her in the way that you do.
W: Yeah. You know what's so great about someone like Alicia? She's a natural. She doesn't have to try so hard.

top 10 quotes.

Will: You look good .
Alicia: You too. Grown-up clothes.
Tammy: He broke my sister's heart. Will came home
from college and told her it was over, that
he was in love with somebody else

Will: Do you think the reviews are stupid ?
Alicia: I think encourages people to denigrate each other to save their jobs
Will: I read your reviews. You didn't.

Aicia: Will..
Will: Yeah ?
Alicia: Could we talk sometime ?
Will: We can talk anytime.
Alicia: No, I mean, we need a moment. Just
a moment where things don't seem so all over the place
Will: Okay, that's probably not now
Alicia: [Laughs] No

A: Do you have a minute ?
W: Sure. Oh that's right. You wanted to talk when things calmed down. (Alicia looks confused)
During the death row appeal you said you wanted to talk about something.
A: Oh no. I mean yes, at some point but this is something else. [...]
W: Diane asked you to join her at her new firm.
A: I don't want to go with her .
W: Good. I'm glad. (they look at each other)
A: Okay, I'm going now. Maybe another time, things will slow down.

O: Yeah, yeah, there's Starbucks on every corner here. So,
sultry Will is Mr. Georgetown? Am I right? I found
my journal in the backseat. You kept writing about Mr. Georgetown. Is that him?
[...]
O: Now what is the deal with Will?
A: He's my boss .
O: Yeah but I've seen the way you two guys talk to each other. (silence) That is a telling pause.
A: I like Will. He likes me. We work well together
O: Making sweet music. (she gives him a look and is silent) Alicia.
A: I don't know okay. What am I doing? I like work. I don't want to screw up work.
O: Are you sleeping with him?
A: No.
O: But you want to.
A: I want to... not think about it. Okay?
O: Okay.

W: Oh, hello Owen! Sorry to take your sister away.
O: Oh don't worry. I don't think she minds being taken away.

A: Will phoned me to tell me something
but I never got the message
O: What?
A: Will phoned me to tell me something passionate and I never heard him.
[...]
O: Yeah how do you know he phoned if you didn't get the message?
A: I can't tell you. It's confidential.
O: Your love life is confidential?
A: Do I talk to him, that's the question. Do I ask him what he said?
O: Do you ask Will what he said to you?
A: Yes. But he's in love with somebody. Well I meant not in love, in something.
And she's nice. I really like her. And they like sports together. They're always
talking about 'three pointer this, and three pointer that'. I know I just made fun of her voice
but I do think that it would really be a mistake to ask him.
O: Oh wow.
A: I'm conflicted.
O: You are in love.
A: I can't be.
O: Happens to the best of us.
A: What do I do?
O: What do I want you to do or what will you do?
A: Which one will I like more?
O: We get home, you clean up a little cause you're looking a little rough around the edges.
You comb your hair and you put on something nice but businesslike. You know, not too ****ty.

And you go to him. And you say Will I need a moment of your time. And he'll be like okay, like
that, kind of manly like. And then, you say...
A: What?
O: I've been watching you for fifteen years. I'm tired of shoving love to the side and serving
other people. I can't think of anything more important in my life right now than the feeling
of your breath on my neck, your hands on my breasts...
A: I can't do that.
O: It's Alicia-time !

A: Will I need a moment of your time.
W: Okay.
A: I never got the second message to my cell phone. I don't know why.
W: The second? No you got everything.
A: When you phoned Peter's press conference you left two messages but I didn't get the
second, I only got the first. I hate missed connections and that stuff so...Can I ask? What did you say?
W: In my second message?
A: Yes. (silence) You don't have to say.
W: No, I will. I said, I think you made the right decision
, with Peter. And I didn't want us to be uncomfortable.
A: Okay. Good. And we're not.
W: No we're not.
A: Okay. I should get back to work.
W: (stops her by grabbing her hand) It's good to have you back.
A: It's good to be back.

W: God, I hate tequila !
A: Oh, but it's so good
W: It's always the good girls, isn't it ? They're the ones with the deep dark secrets.
A: Yeah, well – because we're catching up
W: Two more please
Bartender: Anytime
A: You and the women
W: What ?
A: You and the women ! Chicago's 16th most eligible bachelor
W: Yeah women like me. Until they discover the real me.
A: Which is ?
W: You don't want to know
A: Oh come on. I'm constantly spilling it. What's the real you ?
W: Uncontrollable bladder syndrome
(Both laugh)
W: You have a good laugh
A: And Tammy ? How about Tammy ? How's Tammy ?
W: My girlfriend ? I think she’s in London. She called me yesterday after the closing
arguments – her bags were packed, I was supposed to rush over there to see her and convince her to stay
A: And...
W: And I got the call about the glove. We've always had bad timing , haven’t we?
A: We have
W: What if we were to suddenly have good timing? Just for, an hour. What would that look like?
A: I think that … would look like an exceptional moment.

Will: I'm not just dropping this. You wanna know
my plan? My plan is I love you, okay?
I've probably loved you ever since Georgetown. So phone
me. I'll meet you anywhere, and we will make a plan. I

7 Because this is not the end, Alicia whispering "Thank you" in Will's ear made our ♥ race
6 Because this is not the end, they still have each other's back
5 Because this is not the end, one day they'll have good timing
4 Because this is not the end, the sex was so good!
3 This is not the end, she's going to miss him (especially the raw animalistic sex)
2"Winds are rising, rain is falling but they will go through them together"
1Because they have loved each other ever since Georgetown

Ok ok guys. What I am gonna write below is very spoilerish if you want to not know about the finale don't read. Also if you don't want certain things to be ruin don't read.

Ok so first, what I found out about the elevator scene…..stop now if you don't want to know……It is an elevator scene of Will/Peter. Seems they were going up in the elevator, my guess to L&G and its a tense scene. And Will says to P "Going up to see Alicia?" and P turns to Will and says "I am getting deposed" So freaking hilarious! ( Found out about a scene from friend who saw it film)

Ok so then I went on my own stalking trip after work. Up to Riverdale at the house. I saw all the Florricks there (expect for Jackie). They were filming inside the house. Outside the house they had storage boxes, is that part of the scene? I am not sure. However the PA told me that the house inside was empty which would make sense if……the Florricks where moving back in. Also that scene they were shooting at the house is said to be the LAST scene of the episode, hence season finale. I am not sure if this is true but I heard the PA say it that. So from what I took, seems to me they are moving back in the house. However I couldn't here dialogue so not sure.

Here are some pics from the cast while they took breaks

(Chris Noth sat on the swing, even though they told him not too Juliana wearing cream but with her walking shoes Makezie on the phone during her break )

If something happen, it will make me question why have I been watching for the past 3 years? Then I can't forgive my own folly in the past three years. This is my true thoughts. My love for this drama will no longer exist.

I'm not going to judge this info before I've seen the episodes b/c I have to see it in context.

But if true, I'm seriously starting to doubt Alicia's intelligence and mental state of mind

ETA: now we know what AC was talking about.

It could be one of two things, Peter moving in without Alicia but with the kids or the whole family moving in there again but in that case I think there's a twist. I don't see a real reconciliation between A/P. But in both cases it would be shocking.

Not buying any A/P reconciliation but whatever.....
The whole dumb house SL has already got me in serious WTF mood and one foot out the door.

This reviewer at Vulture encapsulates it perfectly for me:

Quote:
Why are Alicia’s motives and thought processes such an enigma? How is it that after three seasons she still has no friends? Like, none? How is it that she doesn’t see how regressive and depressing it would be to move back into her old house? How is she even considering moving back to the suburbs when, as commenters have pointed out, the commute is terrible and she’ll be stuck in that big empty house without her kids in just a couple of years? Why is she being so friendly to Peter, as if they never had that fight in the kitchen where he went off on her for sleeping with Will, as if it were a bigger blow to their marriage than him sleeping with a prostitute? How is she still married to that manipulative prick? Is it because she’s worried about damaging their public appearance? I mean, he already slept with the prostitute and everyone knows it. There’s not much to salvage.

This show is supposed to be about Alicia’s journey toward empowerment. Every episode I get excited thinking I’m watching the moment when Alicia really finds her voice. And every time that happens, she does something to revert backwards. This episode is no different. She lands a prestigious assignment sitting on a Blue Ribbon Panel to do a civilian review of an IPRA (Independent Police Review Authority) of a police shooting. She rocks the boat … And then she backtracks completely to protect Peter. It’s as if the boat had never been rocked at all.

When is she going to grow a pair that stays grown? When is she going to tell Peter that the separation is sticking, and that the kids are old enough to handle it? When is she going to admit that the sex with Will was the best of her life and just enjoy that?
Especially loved the last part of the bolded comments.

I don't think AC was referring to whatever is happening in the finale. If you read the text in entirety, it points to a dilemma in which she is forced to make a decision. My guess is what's coming up in the next epi.

Quote:
And there's something coming up that Alicia does which is so shocking, fans might not understand it. But that's what I love about our show: you see the dilemmas so you understand why she makes the decision even if you don't agree with it.

I completely agree with this. After re watching again, this was the feeling I was left with, part of me was happy with the episode (still am) but part of me is sooooooooooooooooooo tired of seeing her losing her power again and again and again. I'm tired of trying to figure out what's going on in her mind only to find out the next episode that I'm apparently wrong. I admit it, I'm too dumb to understand this show anymore b/c I have no clue AT ALL what the writers are trying to do.

You're not the only one doubting her IQ and EQ

I'm afraid that this season I'm too dumb to understand what the writers are trying to do. And I'm dangerously close to not caring anymore.

But let's not judge the storyline until we've seen it.

@ Chris, I brought the Vulture review over to the S&S thread b/c it explains so much better than I ever can my problem with the show this year.

I really hate that I have to write all this b/c I love Alicia and I don't want to end up disliking her or even feeling indifferent.
