i am/was also a big george fan. ive continued to watch but yeah, the show lost its spark for me once he left for sure.
GI were so great, its such a shame the show tarnished them but at least we got some great build up. I was so invested in them in season 3.  __________________

Me too, when they happened, they were the first GA couple that I really felt invested in.
 I was thinking the other day about how pretty much every ship (that had a fanbase) was destroyed, & how we were the first ones to get that. In a way, it's kinda satisfying  __________________

I miss them so much
 George and Izzie will always be my OTP for this show... whether it's best friends or lovers, I don't care. George and Izzie shared such a powerful bond.__________________

I just adored their chemistry, and Katherine and TR's real life friendship outside of the show made their bond so much more powerful on screen. You could see how much they enjoyed working together

I definitely shipped them romantically, but I loved the friendship too. I can't really separate the two. It's all tied up for me.

I feel the same way, for me the reason that they are so close as friends is because their bond goes so much deeper than that - it was always there, but it just took them a while to realize it
& that's why their friendship was never the same after they broke up too... __________________

I agree with you guys. I don't really think you can separate the two... they just had a very unique bond, very intense and it set them apart
 When George died, I literally stopped watching. Not only was he my favourite character but I couldn't imagine Izzy without him  __________________

I stopped watching for a long time, but have caught an episode every now & then - it can entertain me for an hour every now & then, but there is nothing on the show now that could pull me in the way that GI used to
