I haven't seen an appreciation thread for these two yet, and I think the couple is adorable with some really touching moments on the show. So without further ado...

Leela's and Fry's relationship is a major plotline that runs throughout the series. After the episode "Parasites Lost" Fry attempts to begin a romantic relationship with Leela. Although these advances were initially rejected, by the 5th season, it is implied that they will end up together. Though she and Fry had several intimate moments throughout the series, they have yet to consummate the relationship, although they came close several times and have kissed (and hugged) on a few occasions.

Season four and five have some AMAZING Fry/Leela moments. I definitely recommend them. Have you seen the one where Fry gets those worms that make him really smart? I think my favorite Fry/Leela shippy moment is when he plays the holophoner for her in that episode. Sooo beautiful and sweet.

I didn't think there was a Season 5 of Futurama? I have the box set and there were only 4 seasons ..

Courtz_BV - yes there are only 4 box sets (I own them too

), but I think there were officially five seasons that aired - here's the list:
Can't get enough Futurama: Episode Guide

In the DVD's they kind of combine them (the first box set has a few episodes from the second season, the second box set has a few from the third, etc...)

I love how they can still be a comedy, and come up with such emotional episodes (Jurassic Bark, the one with the clover,the sting..)

yeah, i agree. it's really comic but still they show how much they love each other. like when leela thought she had accidentally gotten fry killed and she was dreaming about him and he said it to her but she didn't hear him.

btw, they're finally airaing the last eppys here in norway on a network i have!!

Awesome! I still have yet to see the second movie, which apparently has some Fry/Leela jealousy going on. I don't think they'll wrap up the F/L story until the very end though.
