That's all I meant, I myself don't like it when people compare ship/character and I'm sorry if it sounded like i was comparing them. But your most likely going to find similarities between character from different show

I hope they won't go down that "I love you but I can't be the first one to say it" phase.
I'm hoping for a mature kind of relationship (is it too much to ask for a CW show?) but I do agree with what someone said in the last thread that good communication can solve a lot of things, there may be less drama, but Francis and Mary are such complicated characters and they're not just people, they're kind of a symbol of a nation, it really raises the stakes of all their actions, I just hope their obstacles would be something more...bigger.

PS: i desperately wants Mary to learn about the hostile relationship between Francis and King Henry

Honestly I think the CW has an interesting sense of a "mature" romantic relationship. Honestly the only relationship that comes close to that is possibly Nikita/Michael. Although I stopped watching that show last season, so I don't know what the grounds of that relationship are right now. (I also don't really remember a love triangle in Nikita either, unless that changed.)

But I actually do wonder who will be the first one to say "I love you" first.

I stopped watching around season 2, so I'm not sure either.
But I think mikita has a rather healthy relationship, they're very supportive and protective of each other..so I guess they count.lol.

do people actually say "i love you" in that period? I've never watched period shows and never studied European history either, I thought they all went like "I'm fond of you" or something
