I am probably immensely weird for starting this, but I couldn't resist.

My favourite Disney couple has got to be Belle and the Beast (Beauty & the Beast). I cry every time, right at the end of the movie when they're dancing and the music swells And also when he transforms into a human and she looks into his eyes and recognises him. It was all done very, very well - a classic love story

The Swan Princess isn't a Disney movie but I adore Derek and Odette. And I loved Anya and Dimitri from Anastasia.

One of my Favs is Beauty and the Beast to. I love them. Also love Ariel and Eric. I use to love watching those two movies all the time when I was younger. Heck I would still pop them in now today. The songs are still catchy and the stories are both good.

I think my favorite is Pocahontas and John Smith. I love that Disney movie. For once they made the woman save the man and not put a damsel in distress. She was independent. And it\s also based on a real story :-)

Yeah to me this isn't disney but Anya and Dimitri has to be my favorite couple on an animated movie. They are co cute.

But I do love Peter and Wendy and Hercule and Megara.

Loved many Disney couples as a child, such as Ariel and Eric, but my all time favourite one has always been Beauty and The Beast as well. Hands down. I still love 'em and still watch the cartoon every once and then

Belle & Beast (Beauty and the Beast) and Anya & Dmitri (Anastasia) are definitely the major ones for me too. I also enjoy the relationship between Bob & Ellen Parr (Mr. Incredible & Elastigirl) in The Incredibles.

I'd also like to mention a few more animated pairings that are not necessarily romantic but that are very moving and shippy:

Mrs. Frisby & Justin, The Secret of NIMH - The dashing Justin makes the perfect foil for shy but strong Mrs. Frisby; loads of romantic tension here.

Chihiro & Haku, Spirited Away - Powerful spiritual connection revealed in a lovely scene near the end.

Jack & Sally, Nightmare Before Christmas - Unrequited love fulfilled through Sally's support and dedication to Jack.

Marlin & Dory, Finding Nemo - Terrific friendship, with a defining speech about the meaning of love.

Also, they probably shouldn't count, but I can't help but mention Jesse & Celine in the animated film Waking Life. I adored them in Before Sunrise and was so delighted to get another glimpse of them, even in animated form (this was before Before Sunset came about, so I thought that Waking Life may be the last time we'd get to see the two of them together).

My favorite movie when I was little was Beauty and the Beast! I loved Belle and the Beast. But, this may sound weird, but I am weird, so whatever, but I liked them together better when he was a Beast. And not a man. I just thought he was so cute as a beast. And he looked so big and strong and cuddly.

Cinderella and Prince Charming (Cinderella), Ariel and Prince Eric (The Little Mermaid), Princess Aurora and Prince Phillip (Sleeping Beauty). All of those couples kick ass, too.

Omg. Yes, yes, yes!!! I loooove them!! Nightmare Before Christmas is my favorite movie of all time!!
