| hi everyone!!! I just wanted to say hi & let you know Jess did arrive in Wichita safely last night. There was some TV & Radio news there, lots of fans, family, and friends that showed up to welcome her home. It was soooo nice!! One family had made a poster that said "IT'S ABOUT TIME" with litle hearts & kisses all over it - haha it was sooo funny when she saw that one. Her girlfriends from her dance teams had a party bus waiting for her, so they took her away from the airport for the night to get caught up on everything "good" that she had missed while she was gone. She really had a great time with the girls again!!! The Patriot Guard also showed up at the airport (WOW) and they escorted the party bus out of the airport back to the main highway in town....that was amazing to see. Jess said every single bar/club they stopped at let all the girls in for free, and then each place also gave her a very loud welcoming BOOYAH! She had a great time, and then had a interview with one of the local new stations this morning. After that she started to watch the BB8 season, but only made it part way into the second show before she fell asleep - I don't expect her to wake up before tomorrow.....but who knows - her cell phone keeps ringing (lol)! I missed so much the last couple of days and have a ton of reading to do to try & catch up - I can't believe you are already on thread 56!!!! Back soon, Marie PS Not sure who started the TAR petition, but I love it, and have signed it too! I also sent it out as a bulltin on Jessica's myspace, so maybe that will help get more signatures - is there a goal on how many signatures are wanted / needed? | |||

| Also, something that I've been thinking about lately. How do you guys think things would have panned out if AP was never part of the season? Here is my take - The first 3 evictions would have gone the same. The first one that may have been different was Nick, but honestly, I still believe even without the "hinky vote," he would have been the one to leave that week. Now, whether Dani would have still targeted Eric or not, who knows, because there would not have been any mystery votes, and probably no banner. In week 5, assuming Dani won HOH , the noms would have been Kail & Jen again. Now, Jen still would have won the Numbers Don't Lie POV, and I think Zach likely would have gone up in her place, and he likely would have gone home due to Kail giving up 5 HOH's. That would have left the 7 LNC Members, Kail, & Jen in the Final 9. At this point, I think Eric & Jess would have been in a great position. No one would have had issues with them, Dick/Dani had more immediate issues with Kail/Jen, and then Dustin/Amber. Assuming Jess still would have won HOH, I think Kail & Jen would have been the nominations yet again in Week 6. Now, assuming noms stayed the same, Jen would have left due to Kail not being able to play in 4 more HOH's. This is where things get tricky. I really think Kail would have sided with Dustin, Amber, & Jameka, who would still be aligned with Eric & Jess, but just getting another vote in Kail. As a result, Dick/Dani would have been forced to go after them since they had the numbers, with Eric & Jess continuing to play a very smart strategic game & just keep their relationships strong with everyone & not clearly being on a side unless they had to, but playing both sides to an extent and winning comps if they needed to. I also think Jameka would have been in pretty good shape at this point. I think we would have seen Dustin, Dick, Kail, & Amber be the next 4 to go, I'm not sure in what order, but I think that's how it would have gone down, leaving Eric, Jess, Daniele, & Jameka in The Final 4. Basically, I think if not for America's Player, there would have been a good chance that Eric & Jess would have made the Final 2. Of course, this is all speculation & who knows what would have happened. If you change one thing in the domino sequence of events, it changes everything else, and so we'll never know, but logically, if AP was not a twist, I think Eric & Jess would have made it to the Final 4, and most likely at least one of them to the Final 2. But again, who knows, I could be completely off, who knows, maybe we would have seen a Jameka vs. Daniele Final, or a Zach vs. Jen final, we'll never know. Gah!! | Thanks for the update Marie, nice to hear Jessica had a nice welcome home. about her cell phone ringing, it probably will for days with friends and family wanting more catching up, new friends trying to keep in touch and someone else too. I doubt the phone will stop ringing anytime soon. | |||

| How absolutely hysterical would it be if Nick & Jen really did kiss? I still don't completely believe it, but just the fact that it's actually a legit possibility is enough to make me laugh. If they really did & it came out soon, I can't imagine Dani's reaction. It would be so priceless! | |||
