Personally, I think that Matthew kicked arse as Mr. Darcy. He had that whole smoldering look too him. You wouldn't see it if you saw him down the street but he seriously embodied the character in the movie. Must buy film soon. So poor now....eventually I suppose.

I couldn't choose between them... they're both gorgeous in their own ways. Colin when he walks up to his house in those wet clothes... almost naked for that time and matthew during the first proposal scene where he's drenched from the rain *drools*

I would love to see someone make manips of the couples, you know mix them up. I would love to see that and of course, I would love the person who could do it since I suck at photoshop.

*sighs* I'll be content looking at either Colin or Matthew as Mr Darcy. They both had their own thing going on, but I have to say, for me, the mini-series had it all.

Thanks for the icons Sasha. It's a bit off topic, but I love the North and South ones too. I loved that mini-series almost as much as Pride and Prejudice.

I never saw the mini-series, and I saw the movie before I read the book, so I'm a little behind the times (lol). But loved both the movie & the book, though they were both a bit different.

I'm with you Princess 02. While I'm much more the BBC version, both Colin and Matthew are extremely easy to watch as Darcy.
