If these two become canon (I'm normally not big on non-canon on any show), I don't want it to ruin any friendships. I'm tired of love triangles and cheating in general.

I don't think they would have Dov/Gail cheat. They already had the two of them having feelings for each other when she was with Chris so I don't think they'd do that again.
I can see us getting friendship scenes between them with Dov maybe helping Gail keep her mind off of her failed relationship with Nick and maybe Gail helping Dov keep his relationship with Chloe professional. I love Chris but I need him to get his own place ASAP so I can get Dov/Gail roomie scenes. __________________
