I'm not a huge shipper so I don't really look for R/Hr, H/Hr or H/L fics but I've read some good ones, occasionally. I prefer to read plot stories with HP-- like an AU take on one of the books or from another characters POV, but there aren't too many of those.

Really, though, I always search for Maruaders fics. And those are generally:

A. Remus/Sirius slash which is again, one of the few slash pairings that make absolutely no sense to me. I don't hate them but I just...don't get them.
Or
B. Wildly OOC. Sirius basically becomes a happy sunshiney Ron rip off.(WHICH MAKES ME RAGE SO MUCH. I don't know understand where this idiotic playboy Siriustype came about in fan fiction. Um, he was raised by the Blacks. The boy was ****ed up from birth. Don't make him fluffy.) Remus does nothing but read books. Wormtail is forgotten. Lily is perfect.


Most of the writing is just bad for marauders fics.

I've read hers Her fic "May the Sun and Sunlight Seem" is my favourite from her. I mostly read RHr fics (obvs) but I've also read a lot of Ron/Luna fics. I would say that the best one's I've read are:

Til The Sun Turns Black:

I have a soft spot for Ron/Luna too. I think they could have worked in a way.

I apparently have a soft spot for all trio pairings but HG.

LOL. Well HG in fanfiction is better than how it was written by Rowling so it's easier to swallow

Thats true, actually. I've read a few fics where HG are together though its not the focus....and sometimes they're okay. Well written even.

I just despise Ginny sfm.

You know who I could have shipped her with though? Either Neville or maybe even Draco.
I did read this one short fic about Neville and Ginny at hogwarts during DH. It was really good.


I kind of ship AVPM HG. That counts, right?

I don't think I've read any fics where Ginny was the focus... but I can believe in her and Neville if it's written right. Now I have read Draco/Ginny fics Now I have to look for a really good one I read a while back.

That definitely counts I see the AVPM characters in the same light as I see the movie one's.
