WELCOME TO THE DOCCUBUS APPRECIATION THREAD.

They were two girls who came from very different worlds. Bo Dennis is a succubus, a Fae creature who feeds on sexual energy. Lauren Lewis is a human doctor, who is owned by the Ash, the leader of the Light Fae. Bo had run away from home at the age of seventeen, after accidentally killing her first lover, and she'd always been unaware of the Fae world and who she was. Lauren grew up as a regular human, in an upper middle class family, but she found herself drawn to the Fae. From the first moment they met, there was instant chemistry between them. Neither of them could have predicted just how important they would end up becoming to each other.

Bo and Lauren are s t a r - c r o s s e d lovers. Fae are not supposed to fall in love with humans, but Bo did anyway. Lauren was enchanted by Bo from the first moment they met and was willing to do anything to protect her. Theirs was a slow burn, but it was strong; everyone could see that they had feelings for each other. Despite whatever setbacks may come their way, Bo and Lauren are strong enough to face them together.

why we love them

I fell in love with Bo and Lauren from the first episode. Even though we only got one small scene between them, they had amazing chemistry and you could just see there was a connection forming there. I loved how their relationship was built up; you could see that Bo and Lauren really did care about each other. It was more than just a physical connection. Bo and Lauren understand and protect each other. They're a perfect match.

The thing that made me first ship Bo and Lauren is their amazing chemistry. I loved their build up and that the relationship didn't seem rushed. What I love most about them is how much they care about each other and how protective they are of one another. I hope we'll get many scenes with them in the future, because when they're on the screen together, magic happens.

Ugh I haven't even thought about that. Lauren better not be MIA in next episode.

But yeah not very optimistic about BL scenes. At all. And episode 5 will be about Dyson...so nothing again.

I also hope she comes soon, but I guess not next week.

maybe we'll be surprised, who knows. I'm just going to keep my expectations low from now on.

as of now, the so called triangle is still unbalanced. 3-0 is hardly what you'd call balance

There was nothing about BL in the last synopsis and I was happy with what we got. Let's hope next week's the same.

I do wish Kenzi would GTFO with BD though. I mean leave Bo move on.

maybe she is just messing with dyson because he is being an ******* to bo? I don't know, kenzi seemed to have no problem with the possibility of bo and lauren hooking up last night

FYI: The painting in Lauren's apartment was definitely of a woman, not a dude. Nice, doc. Guess she's a butt and back girl. Oh my.

Edit - Been thinking more about Lauren's secret. She was so steely and calm in the scene with The new Ash, like she believes she deserves to be treated so harshly.... Maybe she is an ex-con, killed someone (or a bunch of people)...something like that. And she's ashamed to tell Bo, because Bo only knows her compassionate, healing side. Ya know?

hm, that's an interesting possibility, I mean, she didn't hesitate to stab that man to save bo last season and was totally cold about it, but I'm not sure it's something I want to see happening. to me it's just as bad as other hypothesis.

then again, in episode 6 she was kind of surprised (and excited in a geeky way) when she saved bo by injecting something in that guy's neck. IDK, I just don't get an ex-con-ish vibe from her.

ETA... I saw a boob, so it's definitely a woman - but with a dude's butt
