Doccubus {Bo ♥ Lauren} #4: Because science kicks the crap out of tradition
 #04; b o ♥ l a u r e n WELCOME TO THE DOCCUBUS APPRECIATION THREAD. ● ● ● They were two girls who came from very different worlds. Bo Dennis is a succubus, a Fae creature who feeds on sexual energy. Lauren Lewis is a human doctor, who is owned by the Ash, the leader of the Light Fae. Bo had run away from home at the age of seventeen, after accidentally killing her first lover, and she'd always been unaware of the Fae world and who she was. Lauren grew up as a regular human, in an upper middle class family, but she found herself drawn to the Fae. From the first moment they met, there was instant chemistry between them. Neither of them could have predicted just how important they would end up becoming to each other.  ● ● ●

Yay, I made it to the new thread. And I now know what double-posting is...not gonna do it again....
I too loved the snark. Yes yes, those pesky gays with their ideas about fairness and love. Honestly, it's so easy to be afraid of them. People who go on and on about love between consenting adults are clearly in cahoots with the devil. Or the Dark Fae. Or whatever. In the land of the straight-ies, we name our dashing male characters after popular UK vacuum cleaners to demonstrate how much we don't suck. Like the gays do. Because they're gay. Yay. I agree that Anna and Zoie have been incredibly supportive of Bo and Lauren's storyline. Anna seems like a completely lovely person and I think if I ever meet her, I will give her a hug.  My biggest fear, as someone else said--(I can't remember who, sorry!): I really don't want Lauren to be Bo's rebound. I would like Bo to wake the FRAK up, however, and tell Lauren how grateful she is for all of the sacrifices Lauren has made for her--sacrifices that now that The Ash is being replaced might spell serious danger for the doc.... I want them to take it slow, though. Make it real. Oh, and hee...so glad you are using "non-ally"! Woo hoo, I contributed a little funny to the board!  Goodnight, everyone! I just finished reading the previous thread and want to get into the anti-ships threads and mods thing  It really is hard for a moderator to keep the peace and don't forget us mods also have a soul (most of them  ) and we also have our own ships we love and try to protect. I haven't really gotten that much experience with that though seeing as there are no ships at Communities and over at Eliza we generally ship her with everyone  but I can imagine it's not easy. I did see some of it going on at the Skins board.  I wouldn't mind anti-threads at the LG board if we get it, I just wouldn't go in there to read. The mods can do that and state the rules if the bashing is getting out of line. The getting a board on  is so hard nowadays with all the good shows they air   Have you guys ever considered putting LG up for the Sci-fi section on ? We get those special requests twice a year and I think LG fits in there as well. Doctor Who got a board there if I'm not mistaken.__________________

They put a lesbian couple in ever show nowdays, just to bring in audience. It's really annoying...
I think many people are scared that Lauren will just be a rebound. After the last episode it seems to me that Bo will never get over Dyson.  |

Twice a year those polls go up and you can put something in it
This year I was voting for a Scream board though I'd also love to have a Fast & Furious Franchise  It's like the polls now but the Special Requests only happen twice a year. That's how we got the Twilight board here as well Anti-threads are just part of fandoms some people don't know when to stop.  __________________

I'm personally against anti-threads. those never ended well in the boards I've been part of in the past. |

You can PM Jerry from the Requests board, he'll know. Yes we get them twice a year so December we'll have another one again seeing as we just had one in June.
This might be a way to avoid the hard TV polls  I'm so glad I don't have any anti-threads on my boards  __________________
